What a wonderful interview. I especially liked Daniela’s candor about the challenges and pressure of following in her father’s footsteps. I can only imagine how challenging it’s been, but I’m rooting for her success and happiness!

Having had the privilege to visit the workshop and meet the man himself, I can tell you that he lives and breaths his work. He has perfected his craft and his legacy is deserved. Thank you again MAD and Mr Dufour... we're blessed to have an influence like PD in our era...

I'd love to meet him someday, if only for 5 minutes. His daughter, I loved how candid she was about her position and the challenge. She will go so far, I can see how proud he is of her already. One of the best watchmaking stories I've ever seen. These are icons in the making. As a watchmaker the thought of my daughter taking over was precious... If only I could be anywhere near the level of mastery of Mr. Dufour!

I am deeply inspired by this man, Philippe Dufour. This is a special video, and I greatly appreciate the thoughtfulness of this presentation. I wish the very best to the Dufour family. Thank you.

This interview was less about watches or watch making but more a life lesson and philosophical- and that's why I loved it- wonderful. It was about the human spirit, the loneliness of not having support when you need it, the selfishness of others when you are successful and the legacy one hopes to leave behind when you're gone. His daughter will need to be strong, she has a heavy responsibility on her shoulders- it is a blessing not a burden- although the path will be difficult, it will be worth the effort.
