Setting up 2.4 Inch TFT LCD Arduino Shield ILI9341 HX8347 from Banggood

Lousy quality video, but here is summary:
I got mine from banggood.com for about €6. It took a long time to find libraries that worked with this shield, so hopefully this might save some time for other folks (and act as a reminder for myself :)

1. Install MCUFRIEND_kbv library from the Library Manager, also (I think) Adafruit GFX
2. Edit [Arduino]/libraries/MCUFRIEND_kbv/MCUFRIEND_kbv.cpp, uncomment :
#define SUPPORT_8347D
Now examples such as :
[Arduino]/libraries/MCUFRIEND_kbv/examples/graphictest_kbv/graphictest_kbv.ino
should work.
For the touchscreen -
3. Open sketch [Arduino]/libraries/MCUFRIEND_kbv/examples/TouchScreen_Calibr_native/TouchScreen_Calibr_native.ino
4. Open serial monitor, 9600 baud
5. Compile/upload the sketch
6. Follow the on-screen instructions
7. Copy & paste the contents of the serial monitor
8. Edit the following lines in [Arduino]/libraries/MCUFRIEND_kbv/examples/Touch_Shield_new/Touch_Shield_new.ino
char *name = "My Lovely Shield."; //edit name of shield
const int XP=8,XM=A2,YP=A3,YM=9; //ID=0x9341
const int TS_LEFT=117,TS_RT=897,TS_TOP=76,TS_BOT=886;
5. Compile/upload and upload that.
6. Enjoy!

I got the three piece set from Banggood. the 2.4 In. unit displays all text backwards. Anyone have an idea what's wrong? The Cal program icons appear in the right places (e.g. left top, left mi, etc, then right top, etc).

Also received the 3 piece set from BG last week. The 2.8 works sort of. The 2.4 hardly works. No Touchscreen, scrolling in reverse. It seems that some mods need to be done in the library ccp file. Still investigating. Anyone with info?

Hello my friend, I got a big question, I know this TFT LCD was made specially for arduino, but, it would be posible to use it with a microchip PIC ??

Why not? It can be communicate with just standard 3.3V cmos logic IO or sometime SPI, the only things can preventing it to work is coding bugs or hardware connection problem.
