Thank you! I bought all three. I couldn't get the keychain remote to work for my 1990s sears garage door opener, but the larger black one works fine. Huge win!
thanks for this. lost original remote. cars are programmed from original remote but need a stand alone remote. ALSO saw a stroller in your garage. You said you just got this new old stock opener. looks just like my old one. May not have child stop sensor and could kill a child if does not. Make sure it does or get rid of it.
I have a hand remote with only 6 different switches. The only hand remotes available online now are 9 to 12 dips. what an I do. I have an old Chamberlain
If you only have 2 positions on a dip switch, that would equate to the bottom/negative position on a 3 position switch. Middle/Neutral has to go to middle/neutral, so if that isn't an option either on your garage door or your opener, you can alter the positions of the one with 3 positions to accommodate that limitation (only use the up and down positions).
It's been awhile since I set this up but if I recall correctly, only the digits relevant to the garage door mattered (so the 10th could probably be anything). Since this response by me is late (apologies), please feel free to correct me if that wasn't the case.
