I raised a goldfish for a while because of my 8-year-old son. Growing goldfish is fun. I hope your goldfish is doing well. Thanks for making the video.
Hope you don't mind me saying this but your so sweet. Love the way you talk about your pets and plants. Also love your music choices for your vids. Really lovely to watch. 🐡🐚🐠👍😸
I love that you gave her a pal 💜👌🏽 I wish I could have found them that big- mine are only a few inches long- I have seven of them. I’m going to have to get another tank and split them up in the future if they get as big as yours. Yours are beautiful 💜
Beautiful fish, and beautiful tank! Thanks for sharing! btw, goldfish lay eggs, they don't get pregnant. ;) Kyle looks a little young - black color in goldfish is a sign of immaturity. Those black markings will probably go away in the next few months, but he'll still be beautiful!
@@PlantPorn still gonna be his biggest fan 😂😂 I'm going to be rehoming some ranchu goldfish this monday and having watched your video, I'm even more excited to do so! I loved it, hope you and the fish are still as happy as ever :)
Nice simple setup, it looks amazing, really nice, easy to clean too. I'm researching into getting 3 fancies into my 200L fluval. I do have the same 306 external filter as you. I just need to get those air diffusers now. How big are the diffusers please? Thanks
Just a friendly suggestion..but if you want them to thrive..they need about 3 times the amount of air bubbles you currently have. It's a myth that Goldfish don't need a lot of aeration or water movement. More aeration helps to keep them healthy by increasing their blood oxygen levels. Other than that it's a beautiful tank so congrats!
Hey that aeration is more than enough for a fish u dumb... Over oxygen is also bad for a fish... It's a single fish... Many aquarist don't put a airpump in a goldfish tank... Don't come on youtube to put negative comments🙄
I wouldn't worry about eggs, if you leave them in the tank your goldfish will probably eat them. Eggs are always gone a few hours after my goldfish releases them lol
Funny that people keep saying their fish are 'happy' when they can't know at all how they feel. I like the tank when you added the white sand and those rock-pebbles and of course the plants! ... It looks really aesthetic :)
She happy.i am glad she safe.I saw another channel by error man fed pretty oranda to his catfish.I felt sick.wanted take gold fish home.I have goldfish tanks.
J B I wouldn’t recommend buying from petco or pet smart but you can do want you want it’s your life, but anyways, it’s an Oranda goldfish and you can keep males and females together but they will try to breed. at petco or petsmart it is unlikely for them to be able to tell the gender I would recommend keeping the same gender together so there’s no fighting over females. But they need a big tank Orandas I would recommenced the best tank size as being 40 gallons but if you were to get ranchu gold fish I would recommend 20 gallons and then 10 plus gallons more for every goldfish you add after that. I’ve been keeping gold fish for 20+ years and my oldest goldfish passed last year so they live a long time. I would recommend looking on a website called “kingkoigoldfish.com” and they have some amazing goldfish and on some of there fish they give free shipping and they have supplied some of my breeders so over all good place to get them 100% recommenced them.
Wonderful design! Simple and tasteful. Just one thing: carasus auratus doesn't really need an oxygenated water as it takes air from above the water. Is one of few exotic fish that can live without no oxygen pump in the tank. Another one is Betta splendid. But the oxygen bubbles looks good in the design. Great job! 💚
Not true at all. Goldfish beed the most oxygen out of all commonly kept fish. The reason bettas can take oxygen from the air is because they have a labirinth organ which allows them to do that. Goldfish don’t have that organ.
Even if it’s true, fish with a labyrinth organ still prefer aerated water !!!! They have gills for a reason, as it’s easier to breath, helps keeps the water clean and flowing, it also can be fun for the fish !
@@PlantPorn one of the goldfish ate food and after few seconds he spit all the food and got many shocks and swam very fast and got dead in 5 seconds... He was totally fine but got sudden death in 30 sec. Without symptoms 😭 I have changed other goldfishes and turned on heater at 26 degree.. And gave salt baths... They are fine now... I ve removed all the black sand from tank... Hope they will be fine
