Setting up a TinyGS SATELLITE GROUND STATION 

Meshtastic is on the list here, but I am going to try running it on 868mHz instead since the power restrictions are less there than on 433mHz.

@@LB0FI Good idea, I might try 868Mhz as there appears to be a Meshtastic community developing here in the UK on this frequency.

Telegram is linked to your phone number, so it's hard to make a throw away, but I made sure I deleted the app after registering. I did however receive more than enough spam in that short time.

That is a more than valid concern. I wish they had another way of doing this.

@@chhupparustom Thank you. I haven’t looked into this project for a while. I would think most 433MHz LoRa boards would work.

They are usually launched by universities and research organizations. I have no idea what kind of data they collect, I just find it fascinating that I can actually hear RF from space.

@@LB0FI My mistake. I watch again your video and understand that you use T-Beam, not Lora32. there are two different product lines. T-Beam is more expensive as it come with GPS, and for Lora32, it is ESP32+Lora chipset, hence it is cheaper.

@@obsolete.camper I use the T-Beam for the example, but my station is running on a LORA32.
