How I run my own business at 21 years old with a T-Shirt Screen Printing Vlog - Today I am setting up my Canon Pixma Pro-100 printer to operate with Accu rip and screen printing halftones!
I am documenting my journey from screen printing out of my parent's basement!
Screen Printing is by far one of the best passions I have found within myself self and I want to share my journey!

I don't know if you want to consider it bro but your IX 6820 Canon printer you have you can buy refillable cartridges and just put all black ink on them also if you have issues you can remove the printhead clean it and then if you want to go back to just colors you can go back to colors

Hmm that is interesting bro thank you for the tip! The reason I chose to go with the Pro-100 was because it provides greater detail in printing transparencies and also, it print great halftones whereas the canon IX6820 does not print halftones very well if at all! but that is very cool to know, I will definitely look into it. I know the pro-100 can be switched to full color again but I heard it is a big hassle, what do you think?

Are you still using the Canon Pro 100 to print your film or have you changed on that end? Thanks for the great content.

Curious, do you have to use accurip to have the all black system? Just starting out and I'm separating my colors in Illustrator for now but would love to have an all black ink system. Where can we buy it?

Hey great question! no you do not need accu rip to use the all black ink system! You can purchase the all black ink system and set it up with your printer and print out transparencies without accu rip. You can purchase the all black system from solutions for screen printers which I will leave a link for:) If your still confused on which ink to get please give them a call, they have great customer service and will answer all your questions! solutionsforscreenprinters.com/product/all-black-ink/?gclid=Cj0KCQjw9YWDBhDyARIsADt6sGaGljR8VJAgA8QE5DB-lQ3HzWqg9MCXn2UUlwT_v-X2EhA_zmCgk-oaAvfLEALw_wcB

Love this video! Our set up is super similar to yours. We went with the canon pixma pro-100 as well. We're trying to decide if we want the Dmax ink system and accurip or maybe printfab. What do you think? You still liking the Dmax ink and Accurip? Should we go with that?!
@baavproductions

Nice! My honest 2 cents would be don’t go with the dmax ink for the cannon pro 100. I got it when I did this video and now it’s been a nightmare!

@@baavproductions Oh shoot! What about accurip, you still like it? I wonder what makes the dmax ink not good...maybe a lot of clogs?

Hey bro I have a Canon Pixma Pro-10 so what setting did you change to fix the print after the conversation to all black.

Thank you for tuning in to the video! I did not have to manually change any setting. When I was setting up the accu rip software it had me go through the process. One of the steps asked if my ink was a all black ink, I clicked yes on that. I hope this helps. Just trying opening accu rip on your printer and it should guide you through the steps. Let me know if I can be of any more help.
