Also, if you keep that flap/door on the mulcher, you can kinda hold/trap small trees on the right side while you lower the mulcher down on them. The rotation of the mulcher will hold them and eat em up quickly.
@@tonylee997 yeah, I forgot that this is the RIP🔥 excavator. Strange that there was no mention of it. Maybe he waited to release this vid until the insurance check cleared…
No..this is the one that burned out ....i guss huge amount of saw dust get ducked into that machine thst caused to burn out tragically. ...@williampankratz600
That road is becoming a masterpiece of Andrews enduring persistence to excellence. I would hate to estimate the cost per metre to get it to this stage, cost of machinery, fuel, spare parts etc and yet it has turned out awesomely compared to how it was originally. There’s no substitute for the right machinery and Andrew is never short of that.
It’s so interesting seeing how the timeline in these videos overlap. Like at the beginning of this video, the shed isn’t done being built, but that was like 7 videos ago.
He does that from the time he gets it til he uses it a few times. Sometimes a year or more saving multiple videos of content for it. That’s what sets Andrew apart. He’s a great creator
Andrew, I think that is one of your best buys and worth whatever you paid for it. All the work of cutting down trees and having to clean up after them and having the mulch left behind to rot and then spreading seed to grow grass is fantastic. WORK SMARTER NOT HARDER. Amen
I hope your dad is doing well, Andrew! It’s good to see dad out there helping you and getting out to enjoy a beautiful day with his son! It’s always good to stay active!
andrew it is so good to see you hang out with your dad , he loves you and is very proud of you . letting him help you do even little things like put down grass seed means so much to him. i know i am a dad to .
"The E-Limbinator aka "The Trunkator", Removing large trees, one bite at a time. 😅🤣😂 Thanks Andrew. John here, photographing the back-roads of Northeastern Tennessee.
Amazing machine and tool. I can't even begin to think how many manhours of work you are saving with this newer equipment! Thanks for sharing. I was mesmerized watching those trees turn into chips in seconds. Very cool and great camera angles and sound to get a clear perspective. Felt like I was standing right there with you.
Every summer the good people of Phoenix undergo a transformation into human thermometers and start spamming their temperature all over the internet (because it's the only interesting thing about Phoenix 😂)
Absolutely love the climb up the snowy road and adding the chains, love the sound of the Hyundai Ex. Oh yeah, the space station has reported a new dent from what looks like a rock similar to what's on your driveway. Thanks for the video.
Andrew, you should add a hydraulic oil tank, and grease tank to your fuel truck. So when you do fuel, you can also grease and add hydraulic fluids. I would add an air hose also so that you can do tires from the same truck. Like dirt perfects trailer.
If your new 235 has an extra aux hydraulic circuit available. Id reattach the hydraulic door flap thingy. It'll help with the chip debris flying everywhere and It should give you a place to feed the trees like if you were putting it in a wood chipper, without it wiggling everywhere and making 3 to 4ft "splinters".
It does, I set up my tilt bucket to work off that so I can still use the thumb. I am sending this mulcher head back. Its faster to pull the trees out then bring them to firewood/burn piles.
@@AndrewCamarata That's a shame...I run flailmowers/mulchers often at work and its usually way faster to mulch the trees then drive them back and forth and burn them, unless you got a second hand to transport them...then again if you got a second hand, you can run a second cutter lol. I was going to suggest when cutting to cut opposite of the flail mower, i.e. swing to the right when cutting instead of the left, usually cuts way better and faster, also doesn't nearly drag the mulcher into the tree/stump like cutting to the left does, such as at 31:50 . And rocks + mulcher = instant dull/chipped blades. Not worth trying to mulch stumps all the way down to the dirt in your area as a single rock can ruin your teeth if you aren't careful, so it might be better anyways for you to rip them up and back fill the holes I guess. I would say ripping the stumps up might cause erosion issues on those slopes, but you got plenty of rock to go around so it probably won't be an issue for you. Been watching your videos since the "replacing the mounts on a bulldozer blade" video, love your videos and hope to see many more in the future!
Love the apathy that translated into panic for the delivery guy, and hilarious laughter for us! I just hope you didn't upset him too much. A promise that it's all your fault if damaged, and good New York size tip, would have made him go through his day with a smile instead of anxiety.
It makes me happy to see you doing stuff with your old man. I miss working with mine... New mulcher is pretty sweet. Hope you're doing well, I'll have to give you a call some time so we can catch up.
Ha! Monday afternoon, 9 million degrees and 6000% humidity. I was going to do some scratching up the yard and new seed with hay, etc. Then I see that Andrew has posted a new video 2 hours ago. Yay! I have been rescued from a terrible job today. I will drop anything at any time for a new Andrew video, especially with this particular weather that my body can no longer tolerate. So - Thanks for the perfect excuse not to do landscape type work. And, Andrew, thanks for continuing to provide (in my humble opinion) the best that You Tube has to offer.
shows you how selfish he is....and does not care about any other peoples equipment...just damages it....the driver is on the hook for that stuff...true dillhole...
Cool! But for your greater convenience, you need to install a continuous flow function, I think you can install an additional solenoid and button. Ideally, the excavator should be equipped with a combined hydraulic system = 2 pump - 2 way flow with the ability to combine flows. In this way, the flows from the two pumps will be combined and the wear of the pumps will be uniform, and the base machine will not lose in the speed of operations. Greetings from Russia!
I've been waiting for you to clear out some more trees and brush by your long driveway. That will make it drier without all that shade on it. You'll be surprised. I have only 10 acers about 60 miles away. In two years. The trees have sprouted so much new growth. I have to trim up everything again. But that new mulcher will clear out all that overgrowth on the sides. Nice that you can sit in heat or air-conditioning and wack that brush, without worrying about ticks, posion ivy etc, the old fashion way. Cool satisfying video!
@@dvandkq That's the old one on this video got burn... Tha's why @timothystevenhoward says RIP Hyundai 235 in 2024. I believed this is the last video with that machine the day before it got burn.....
I love watching you and your father that's real cool that you bring him in to help you out, I realize she's an older man but I'm telling you by my experience spending time with my son it's everything. You may not think so Andrew but just spending time with you I'm sure it means a lot, wow what a attachment man that thing eat up trees.
Gotta love those boys dad, they love being around dad while he’s working! Thanks for sharing my friend and prayers going out to you, your family and Cody and Blue! Louisiana loves you channel and I’ve been watching you for years my friend and hopefully more to come! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🙋🏼✌🏻✌🏻💯💯💯
Love this machine! Suggestion to prevent chips from covering your road. Always have the blades spinning away from the road. Shoots chips into the woods. I am sure you figured this out by now. Love your videos. Start watching you before the castle on top of your shop!!! Keep up the good work from Virginia.
That seems to be a well made attachment as the drum turns true near as I can tell from the video. The dogs are great and Andrews property will be a beautiful place for generations to come.
FINALLY getting into a mulching head for your Excavator! Awesome, thought I would of gone with a TMC Cacallia head.Daven [ Idigit4 ] has several and they both work really well on his excavator and on his skid ster., as he has a LOT of mulching jobs in South Carolina. John [ Upstate Bush Control ] has one as well, as Chris [ letsdig18 ]. Awesome that you are mulching..have come a long way over the years as you have grown as a man and as far as your property business as well..Goota admidt that Andrew always makes sure that his machines are well taken care of and always does maintanance on them as well when we finds something wrong with them or just to check and replace fluids and filters. Awesome! LOVE your videos Andrew! always looking for them..appreicated.
TIM from Canada suggestions even if you were getting wood chips on your driveway eventually mother nature is going to blow them away or they are just going to be decompressed into the landscape so I would not worry about getting your wood chips everywhere. It is a part of of the nature it might help your road to keep the soil from being so muddy
Very nice! I figured that you may end up getting a mulcher, just with the amount of trees that you deal with, so this, along with the new Hyundai excavator, worked out awesome. Very cool.
seems like a shoot or funnel type guide thing would keep from having to be so cute with the controls, most of those trees are wobbling like crazy. It does rip pretty good when you hit it right though.
Well the truck driver is responsible for their truck, He was scared Andrew was going to damage his truck. I was actually nervous too, andrew has been known to break things
Take this advice from someone who does this professionally under power lines all day. Manufacturer quality is important for these mulcher heads, a cheap head is going to take a lot less abuse deadheading and is overall going to wear out a lot faster the more expensive higher-end heads such as shearx are actually really tough heads and have been through a lot of abuse I've seen them out in the field lifting tire machines with just those heads and they have a lot of really neat features. As for the teeth keep them sharp maintain them otherwise they will begin to get a curve in them and you will end up losing a lot of teeth life when you try to sharpen them the next time. Change teeth regularly as well depending on your terrain either use pounders which are meant for Rocky terrain and used to go to dirt or use knives if you need high production but only in very good ground where you're not going to be geeting a lot of rocks. If you have any other questions please feel free to ask me
@@AndrewCamarata yea, if it was cedar trees the mulch would take 15 years to decompose. ripping trees out of the ground and throwing into the fire leaves the cleanest look by far
@@AndrewCamarata so it depends on the machine and location. Here in Oregon it's currently level 3 fire danger, so no burning and we cannot burn brush or trees under power lines. Heads designed for smaller excavators (less than 250hp) are not great for trees much over 10" to a foot. Many heads also have a certain working angle that they perform better at and of course hydraulics are always a factor. If you want to get more power to a cutting head so that you could take whole trees you would need a power pack to replace your counter weight. We have a CAT 538 kited with a 4' head, it's mainly used for the worse terrain we see but is a beast. However cat reprogrammed it to divert more power to the hydraulics when the head is on so the travel speed and swing power is terrible. The best way to operate a head in that situation is to only turn it on when working with the head and turn it off for movements. I really wish I could show you how we use them and what for because we actually do very little tree removal with the head and focus mainly on woody brush. You could check out the recent shorts for the channel DirtDustMud and that would give you a small view but there is a lot more.
@GreatNW good input, but this not the West Coast. Also, this young man is learning, but notice he always has monies for his own projects? This young man is getting it done. 👍🏻👍🏻
@@AndrewCamarata You can get wood chippers that mount on a tractor PTO. They work really well, woodland Mills makes a nice one, hydraulic infeed, 8" capacity.
Good to see ya hanging out with your Pops. I sure miss the heck outta mine. He always liked to hang out and pull him up a chair while I worked. Good parents are worth the world man!! Great video
WAS JUST BINGE WATCHING SOME OF YOUR OLDER VIDEOS AND GOT A NOTIFICATION FOR A NEW VIDEO! RIGHT ON TIME!! WE ALL KNOW YOU'RE EXTREMELY BUSY, JUST WISH YOU WOULD POST MORE VIDEOS. LOVE WATCHING YOUR CHANNEL
Thanks AC for the new vid...awhile back I asked about some blooper/out-take footage and the shredder unloading fits...I know editing takes alot of your time...the mountain top looks great...keep em coming...🍻
Was that your Daddy helping with the grass seeding? That's so heart warming when we see family helping out, especially when it's your daddy cause you have a bond together that I love to see. Thanks Andrew for sharing this short moment with us.
Looking Great Andrew! Steady progress and having fun. Set backs, sometimes, but you have a Great attitude and things are progressing. Hope things are going great with the new castle plans.
I wish I lived closer . One or two passes with Andrew towing me and my airboat up and down that road on the trailer and those chips and sticks would be long gone . 330 Hp spinning an 80" three blade prop makes a great leaf blower .
