Setting up cane bagpipe drone reeds, pitch adjustments 

This is a great video! I play folk clarinets from North Africa and am also getting in to North African bagpipes, which both use single reeds like this in the "chanter". This video has helped me so much!

OMG, that lifeline on the reed is a great idea. I had a drone reed fall into the bag once 5 minutes before I had to play at a wedding. Thx!

I use a Husk cane bass reed and it is quite nice! I have no problems with it.

I'm going to try some cane reeds for the first time just as an experiment and to see how they sound and also for the learning experience.
