these boards are still wood, but they have a carbon fibre layer on top to keep it stiff and strong

They're called bearing spacers, and it makes the bearings spin at the same time so they're faster.

Nope, he didn't put bearing spacers here. It was a speed ring washer. Bearing spacers looked like a small tube.

I once sat a brand new board up with Independent trucks and spirtfire wheels and all the good stuff. I then went out did one kick flip, and the whole things snapped in half:(

g-codes and the g6 are very similar, everyone has different views on whats best but i love them both, g codes seem to last longer. im trying out the new reynolds next

3 Questions? On one of your other setup videos, what were those bolt things you put in between the bearings, in the center of the wheel? And why did you not use them in this setup video? What is the purpose of it? I'm new to skating, and don't quite understand the mechanics of a skateboard,lol............

Those were called bearing spacers. It's optional to put them tho, There won't be any differences if you choose not to put them.

YES! In your opinion are the herman g6 the best skate shoes? if not what are? Because I'm planning on getting them for my birthday, but in the UK they cost the equivalent to $106, but I REALLY want them. You should do a review of them too, would be really helpful :) Thanks!
