Try uninstalling Sawgrass Print Manager, then downloading and installing the latest version from sawgrassink.com/software. If this does not work and you purchased your SG800 from us, please feel free to reach out to our Technical Support department at (800)215-0894. If it was purchased from another retailer, we recommend reaching out to them or Sawgrass directly. Sawgrass support information is available at supportdesk.sawgrassink.com/en/support/home
I wish there was more time given to each step....for newbies like me , I couldn't keep up! it seemed like the info was thorough and the presenter was pleasant...just please consider that not everyone has a base of knowledge to make this easy to follow as quickly as it is presented
Hello, very helpful video. I am just starting in sublimination and i have some questions please. So first one , will i be able to subliminate on any material ( mug, polyester, cotton, stone, wood, ect) with the sawgrass sg 400 and a heat presse? Did it work with the same ink and paper for all materials? Thanks you !
Happy to help! 1) For hard items like coffee mugs and metal panels, the items need to be specially treated with a poly-coat specifically for sublimation. While you technically can treat items yourself, we do not recommend this at all, since it's difficult to achieve consistent, professional results. You'll want to purchase items specifically made for sublimation from a reputable dealer. You can view our complete selection of sublimation blanks here: www.heatpressnation.com/sublimation-blanks.html For garments, we recommend using 100% polyester. Sublimation dye will not adhere to cotton. If you use a cotton/poly blend, it will not have the full vibrancy of 100% polyester. 2) Yes, you use the same printer, paper, and ink for all sublimation substrates - coffee mugs, t-shirts, photo panels, ornaments, etc... We have lots of sublimation videos here on our channel! Be sure to check them out for more info =)
i just bought the sg400 from your company and got an error code immediately. there is no option under support on the website to click on the sg400 as shown.

We just added a new video that shows how to setup and perform your first print with the new SG500: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lunLovnnhOI.html You'll have to buy an adapter or hub so you can connect your old USB devices to your computer's USB-C port.
Virtuoso is the name of the series of Sawgrass sublimation printers. The SG400 and SG800 printers in this video are both Virtuoso series. They have since been discontinued and replaced by the Sawgrass Virtuoso SG500 and SG1000 sublimation printers.
So the software is free to use in the future as well? Can you also print with the correct color profile out od silhouette Studio for print and cut ? What if you dont register for the Sawgrass Software, can you still download the driver and does it work without that program?
- Virtuoso Print Manager (VPM) is free to use, as is the CreativeStudio design software - You can print from Silhouette Studio on a PC. If you're on a Mac, you'll have to save as PDF and then open that file in the VPM. - You will have to register to get an account on SawgrassInk.com to get access to their free software products. - VPM is a downloadable program, so you don't need to be online or connected to anything to use it. You will need this to print properly from your Sawgrass printer. If you send your images straight to the printer without going through VPM, they will not sublimate properly and your colors will all be off.
1) Yes. White glitter HTV can be sublimated on. We have a video that show you how: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-COGlCEmJHDM.html 2) Maybe? We've only tested it with Siser and Specialty Materials white glitter HTV. So we can't speak for other brands.

Hi there! Sawgrass printers have a self-maintenance feature. As long as they are plugged in, they will go into sleep mode and turn itself on once a day to rotate the heads to avoid clogging.
Completely unable to print via Print Manager, have reinstalled 5 times and have decided the only way to print is directly from Photoshop, unfortunately this leaves wide bands across the entire page which Sawgrass say is because I am using Photoshop and that I have to use Print Manager even though they know it will not print. SG800 Mac OS10.15.5 Catalina.

Don't buy this printer. Recently they did an update, and a user cannot use other company's ink. If you do you get a black grid watermark on your print job. You have to use their very expensive ink. There are other sublimation printers that work just as well, and the ink isn't as expensive as Sawgrass ink.
