HI,
This video shows how to install mosquitto mqtt Broker on windows based Pc and how to use it. This broker is free platform from Eclipse.
To set up the Mosquitto broker on Windows, you will need to perform the following steps:
Download and install the Mosquitto broker from the official website (mosquitto.org/....
After installation, open the Mosquitto configuration file (mosquitto.conf) in a text editor. This file is usually located in the Mosquitto installation directory (e.g., C:\Program Files\mosquitto).
In the configuration file, you can set various options such as the port number, logging level, and authentication method. The default configuration should be sufficient for most purposes, but you may want to adjust these settings based on your specific needs.
Save the configuration file and close the text editor.
Open a command prompt window and navigate to the Mosquitto installation directory.
Run the following command to start the Mosquitto broker:

Could you figure out how to install a MQTT broker on a RP pi Pico W and make a tutorial of it? I'm tired of burned SSD cards. It should be possible since some guys installed it even on a ESP32.

HI, Create a configuration file (test.conf)which defines a listener to allow remote access. as shown in the video.Then run the mosquitto command with test.conf file as shown in the video. Thanks

Hello ADTechKnow Great video! i just have a problem with the last step were you try to open the test.conf file. I get this respons: "error: unable to open config file test.conf " Can you please help me?

Open a notepad,copy the statements as shown in the video(7:37 on wards ) and save this file in the same location where other mosquittobroker files are stored(in my case the path is E:\mosquittobroker). Save this file as test.conf(ensure the test.conf file saved in correct folder) and run the command from same folder as shown in the video(mosquitto -v -c test.conf).Hope,this will help .Thanks!
