This is the printer I am using currently I have 2 one for Sublimation and one for waterslides, vinyl and normal paper. Slightly cheaper at Walmart if you can catch one in stock

Love this setup!!! I was so nervous about doing the conversion so I wussed out and bought an Epson sub printer, but this idea for getting the exact same Ecotank model you already have then just swapping the inks and being able to use the regular inks in your other printer is genius! Looking forward to lots of sublimating!!! 😁😁

It was definitely not in my budget buying an actual sublimation printer or a larger format printer right now, going with the same model made life so much easier!

Awesome Rae !!! I got my new Epson Ecotank 2803 this morning!! Wow! Took us awhile to set it up but, I am Loving it so far. Nice to know I could eventually if I ever wanted to get another one and do sublimation with it.

I will say setting up the second one went a LOT faster lol for the price I'm finding it's a fantastic little printer I just topped off the ink from when inset the first one up in what marchbor april with the rest of the original bottles and it's basically still full. I figure with my old cartridge one I'd have replaced the ink at least 4 times by now.

Is the empty bottles from your other printer

Yes I was lucky to be able to empty my other bottles and clean them. A lot of Inks come ready to use with proper tops these didnt.

I need help. I have the same printer and the same ink and the same paper. Anytime I load a sheet in the back and try to print it says printing and some of the rollers inside the printer are going but not the one that rolls the paper in and it keeps tellin me that my paper type is wrong and i have tried every setting. its brand new... Is it broken already somehow?

Is it all properly installed? 🤔 mine makes me over ride the paper type sometimes and occasionally spits out a white sheet.

In the computer itself? Yes I have 1 that says regular and one that says sublimation on my drop down print list. I got all of the copies removed and the name changes to stick after a few tries! And one is running networked and one via USB... I dont have wifi so USB is easier for me...
