Setting up your newly received flags may be mind-boggling. Even I've had challenges with it in the past. But worry no more because all you need to know in setting up your flags and including the halyards are here.
@@jcteruel8153 The double-fisherman's knot is more secure, attractive and a bit less bulky than the improvised clinch knot (a.k.a. halyard knot). You might wish give it a try. Using white electrical tape rather than black presents better. I use nothing but double fisherman's knots/bends to attach a halyard to a flag, or to snaps. The working/bitter end gets trimmed, melted with a lighter, then mushroomed into the end of the knot - will never come undone. No dangling end, no whipping, no tape. Using the "bend" version of the fisherman's prevents the attachment loop from collapsing.
