That's literally the calmest veiled I've seen, he didn't hiss or try to bite at all, all most all of the captive veileds I've seen wanted to rip my arm off
TokageSan my panther cham named punchy is pretty calm too! Look at my profile if you wanna meet him :). Edit: he is a pretty calm veiled to. They are prone to biting, but I like the diamond shape bite they leave.
@Tristan Hylton no it does not 😆 there are multiple reasons, it could be that but it most likely is stressed also his setup is HORRIBLE I have a chameleon the cage needs to be 2x2x4 especially since it’s a male. It should have a bare bottom lots of branches and plants. Also a uvb and a basking lamp. Also what he said about them being an invasive species and that legally it’s his now bitch no tf it’s not and they aren’t an invasive species they are actually an ENDANGERED species for this EXACT REASON you can’t just take a cham from the wild and say it’s yours they are in the wild for a reason that’s there home so leave it there that’s why people breed chams so that you don’t have to go out and take one from the wild
Elizabeth Wheeler I had one called karma and then I got pascal and then karma died because she randomly went black on the way back from holiday then we got tango which we changed to yoda and then he got a infection like his tongue was falling out and then about a week later pascal got the same but my dad called up the vet and basically a few days later his tongue fell out on the way to the vet he was fine for maybe a week or two this was this October and he randomly passed away I miss him so much they’re hard to take care of
Fellow Veiled Chameleon Owner here !!, Here’s some name suggestions: Tobek , Rango ((it would be an honor to have a chameleon named after my own lol)) Chance ,Victor ,Leon ,Crayon Crayon and Tie-Dye are my personal favorite Also , you should try to not handle your chameleon as it’s very stressful for them like when your chameleon gets dark it’s showing that their very stressed out and they tend to end up almost dying or becoming very sick from being to stressed out.
This is old but Imma keep this mind. I have my first veiled chameleon coming to me tomorrow or Friday, I’ll remember that if they turn a dark color to leave them be cause I don’t want them being sick or dying
Yeah I have a chameleon and I would suggest at leat 2 times the width of that enclosure as even though it is pretty tall they also need width not just height. The chameleon may also go dark for basking purposes as he is trying to get the most sunlight possible
Good video. I especially like how you explain about covering the dirt and washing the leaves, etc. You are very knowledgeable ... thanks for sharing with us.
Love the lay out for him. I am glad you kept him😇. Like so many people he didn't ask to be brought here, it just happened. I know if you turned him over he be died😪 right now. Bless you for taking in one more pet😃. As always it was fun and knowledge. I hope your hurt finger get well soon😷. LOVE💜
Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii loveeeeeeeee chameleonnnnnnn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want to name it master master please jacob feder?????????
Ay don’t scare him/her if the chameleon dies it’s gone and chameleons eats small bugs like crickets, grasshoppers, hornworms, and they need this water bottle thing and spray there cage every day? They can change colors too it’s cool! They climb sticks.
He's stunning I'm not a reptile/lizard fan EXCEPT for chameleons. Great ever changing colors, cool tongue, comical eye movements and walk and way less aggressive then most other lizards I mean he's not hand reared and he's so placid. I like Cameron if he's a boy or Camile if he's not or just Cam for either.🦎
Hey bud! Name, you called him that in the beginning of the Vlog! Great one too! Awesome cage set up! Sending positive vibes your way. Peace love dream's!🇨🇦 💞🌐📷📽️⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🌅🌎💜🌏💚🌍🌄💯☑️✌🏻💗☁️🎬😉
