Just upgraded from my note 20 ultra to the s24 ultra, I used to have an edge panel for widgets that i could add any widget to. That doesnt seem to exist anymore. Do you know any good alternatives?

The phone has lasted for almost 7 years and it's time has come and gone. My new Samsung 24 Ultra 1TB phone is coming Tuesday, I am going to upload some videos with the phone on here after I get it
Just got the S24 Ultra & the S9 ultra 14" tablet. So many vids on setup, change these settings now, etc. I feel overwhelmed with it all. Plus all new devices have so much bloatware anymore, you almost have to look each one up to know what it does. I look forward to seeing your other vids- hoping they will answer my questions. I have 10 gmail accts, I dont know where my app sign in info & passwords are stored. I believe under my main account. Is the Dashlane app secure? How about Samsung pass? I'm going in circles setting up these new devices 😢 I did the Samsung trade in with 2 phones and my tablet (I have the watch 6- my dog ate my 4> tab wont arrive for a week or so.
I like a big phone and I like it chunky too, for real no jokes 😂 I really do I want to feel it in my hand I don't like trying to fit it into my pocket if it won't go but I like how it feels in the hand so when I put an Otterbox case on it it gives me the chunkinness I'm looking for.
They got me with the trade deals. $535 for my old Note 10+ was too much to pass up. Especially when Google was only willing to fork out $360 for my Pixel 7 Pro for the 8 Pro, which I decided not to buy because I found the trade value offered, frankly, insulting when they're still selling them in Canada for $1,309! It will be nice to have all of the features of my Galaxy Watch 4 Classic working again though. Doesn't make me less annoyed that some features get locked to their phones, but everybody is just following Apple's lead in ecosystem lockdown. Really looking forward to a flat display again after a lot of years with those godawful curved things!
The default message app is now Google Messages which is just labeled as Messages. Voice to text should just be on the keyboard in the bottom left of the phone.
It depends on your carrier but I don't think I have seen them in the box for a while. Your carrier should give you one for free but will need to activate it.
What setup do I need to achieve better results with my S24 Ultra? When capturing photos of moving objects, I've noticed they often turn out blurry. How can I address this?
I'D LOVE TO KNOW HOW TO MOVE THE TIME WIDEGET IN THE UPPER LEFT CORNER TO A SPACE DOWN LOWER IN THE SAME LINE AS THE WEATHER WIDGET. I AM HESITANT TO PLAY WITH THOSE WIDGETS. THANKS.
That widget can do that. Make sure you have a row available lower on your screen. Then all you need to do is hold down in between the time and weather and when the widget has two dots appear, keep holding down and move it lower on your screen. Then let go when it is where you want it. If it isn't, just hold down again and move it.
@@TechWithBrett this is gonna be a game changer for than cN you do a video on how to make the live caption work while having a phone call. I am deaf or very hard of hearing and the phone side is my biggest problem trying to make reservations at place.i have an Samsung s9+ so it a dinosaur

I've been using the S24 Ultra ecer since I posted the video and it has been a great phone. My main issue with it is that it is way too tall and I fumble using it when trying to reach across the screen. There have been some rumors about Next Pixel fold and if you can wait till fall I think it will be amazing.
Hi everyone, I am absolutely not tech savvy so I hope someone can help me out. I currently have NOTE 8 from T-mobile. I ordered S24Ultra (T-Mobile branded) and waiting for it to come. In order for me to keep my same number all I do is take the SIM card out of my NOTE 8 and put it into my S24 Ultra and thats it ? What if I want to get a new SIM card because my SIM card is "old" how do I go about saving my number ? Sorry to sound dumb but again I am not tech savvy at all ! Thank you !
Great question Tracy. What you have mentioned is all you need to do to transfer your number to the new phone. I would recommend getting a new SIM because it has been so long. Do donthat you can go to T-Mobile and ask them to give you a new SIM and then they can transfer your number to it. Or you get a new SIM and you can call customer service to swap your number to the new SIM.

Google has gotten hacked a few times. I had to delete a google account I had for years (like from way back when they started) as well as change my passwords twice after being notified of possible hacking - so I will NEVER save passwords etc with Google any more.
Thanks for the call out. This is true, they haven't fully implemented it. It looks like case manufacturers are trying to implement it with the magsafe circle on the cases.

Tried Smart Switch and it did not transfer PIN. Result one dead S24 Ultra and biometrics also not active. Straight away has to go to Samsung for a factory reset. Absolute crap.
4:34: OK, so they DO have an option where you can transfer from iPhone to Samsung or any other Android device, great!!!! 👍. Whenever Apple files for bankruptcy, possibly because of the lawsuit created by the U.S. Congressman, I’ll switch, and this will be one of 2 Android phones I’d switch too. The other would be the Google Pixel 8 Pro.
Nice video. I tried smart switch but it didn't show my phone's internal storage. It just showed the data which is uploaded on Google drive. Pls can anyone help?

Such a shame that devices this powerful have so bad camera software and Samsung seems to ignore it year after year. All of these features and AI thingies and you still can't get a clear pic of moving subject...
The magnet on the snap clip wasn't very strong so I'll have to see if I can find some other products to demo it. It really won't be an issue unless you find some crazy case on Amazon that has a big magnetic clip on it or try to use the S Pen when wireless charging.
