Thank you sir. After trying a bunch of other videos setup - none of which worked properly - this one worked perfectly. I spent about 6 hours yesterday trying to config OBS with Zoom. Got it all done today in 30 minutes!
Only glad I could help. I have recently created a slightly better set up, very similar but helps eliminate a couple of other issues. Hopefully I’ll post all about it soon
@@AlanMarriott Looking forward to it. One thing I did notice is that the use of the Global settings limits your ability to have other configurations where you would not like to use this. Other setups I saw (which had issues) relied on all config without really using global settings. Thanks again though.
I am indebted to you for teaching so finely and address every thing about VB cables, settings vis-a-viz Zoom. I tried several other videos on RU-vid but there were quite a few confusions. Thanks a Ton Dear Professor and a Great Teacher.
Sir, you are a gentleman and a scholar. I can not tell you how I have spent days in search of such a video and finally, I have found it! And it makes bloody sense.
Hands down the best step by step demo that I have found. A few others have well documented setups. However, I keep running into feedback issues. I also like how you're using VB cable for the dedicated stream deck. Super smart and I have not seen anybody explain that before.
The best I have been about to fine and it enabled me to set up my virtual cables correctly. I do have a question... where do I go to fine stream deck? I've not been able to locate it? Thx @@AlanMarriott
Fantastic video. One question about playing music through the stream deck. I understand you can send the music directly to the virtual cable but how do you make sure you listen it too? Thanks again!
Thanks for a great video - not sure if you are still active in the video, if you are I need help with setting up Zoom into OBS, for when I do live interviews. Thanks
Awesome! Thank you so much. My OBS is crashing when I select Audio Monitor -> Outputs -> Track 2. Prior to this, I was able to select Track 1 against my Audio card where in my mixer is connected to without any issue. Your support is highly appreciated.

Hi Alan, thanks very much for the video! It helps me a lot in OBS settings! However, still a minor task I not quit understand, what is track 1-6 for? and why we need to uncheck track 1 when set monitor and output?
@@AlanMarriott Thanks for your replay! One more question, your example settings , is that track 1 is mic, track 2 is stream Deck and track 3 is zoom audio in?

@@AlanMarriott hey man, is it possible to get your latest set-up?...I tried your current set-up, but the person on the other end of the video call hears echo and I'm not able to get the recording back from their end :/ sucks big time...is it possible to contact you directly?...I don't understand yet how people join video calls with OBS and there are no problems -__- I'm running into walls...please help!
Obviously you would need to change a setting or two in the main obs settings in the audio record tab ensuring its set to tr 2 for audio...I'm so sorry, but you completely lost me on this sentence. I assume track 2? and Audior Record Tab? And, " a setting or two." Thank you to you or anybody who might enlighten me on this matter.
In OBS, I set Mic /Aux 1, My mic (focusrite), Mic/Aux 2, VB Cable ( not A, Not B, Not C , n not D) Mic/Aux 3 VB Cable A and in advance monitor... VB Cable B. in Zoom, (automatically speaker VB cable A and Microphone. Cable B. Audio Mixer on OBS, Track 1, Selected Cable B, (couple of headphone haha) my mixer and REaltech.... All Done. No audio to Zoom. Please someone teach.
