Hey GDTitans would be cool if you could make a tutorial about a prefab placement /destroy system whith Grid. Something simillar to Minecraft but with Prefabs
Good tutorial! Got most of the stuff working, but I have a question. How can you transfer the position of the volume bar and graphics settings to another scene? the graphics itself work fine, but the dropdown gets reset if you go into a new scene.
If you are using a persistent UI it will remain in the menu selections after adding onbuttonClick() which saves the last settings. You just make sure your "Audio" sources are attached as children of the Game Menu just as you would with the settings menu. You can use a single Mixer and what settings you have preserved/saved them as will effect any object with audio under the exposed category you create. Its better to use a single InGame Menu separate from the Main Startup Menu that persists across scenes so you dont have to fuss with the nonsense of drag and dropping its prefab everywhere which is not optimal and a terrible idea all around.
For me, the graphics dont work. My graphics just stay in the same level even if i change it with the dropdown. GDTitans if you would reply to this comment and help me, it would be very nice of you.
@@GDTitans I did, actually. It updates in the menu, but whenever I load into the game it goes back, again. Do you know a solution to this? What should I do next? Appreciate all help!
public void StartGame() { SceneManager.LoadScene(SceneManager.GetActiveScene().buildIndex 1 ); } } instead of '1' put what no. of scene u want and dont forget to go in build settings and drag all ur scenes you will get the number of ur scene there.
