good stuff. Love the signal being pulled off and on. The wind and glorious BLACK AND WHITE. How nice to ve in a cottage , cold outside and a cracking fire and reading g railway books
Superb - the monochrome not only captures the atmosphere but creates more of it as well, working perfectly with the whistling wind. Thanks for sharing, Bob Kershaw
Marvelous!! you caught that wind-blown atmosphere of the place perfectly there; It really van be bleak up there at any time of the year. Brrr, I've just put another log on the fire... Cheers, Alan
love the black and white, it almost feels nostalgic. If I was (which I am) going to nitpick :) - Apart from the West Coast Railways on the coaches and the footage is just too crisp, you would think it was shot in the 50's. In Premier Pro (I assume that this the software you use) you can speckles and grainy stuff... would have been great... gives me an idea.... All the same, the footage is fantastic. The B+W is great and I look forward to seeing more wonderful videos.
Many thanks for the feedback and apologies for the slow reply. I decided not to add grain or speckles to this one and wasn't trying to recreate the 1950s/60s as there are many giveaways - the coaches, electric lamp and welded rail etc. I used B&W purely to give it more atmosphere. May well try a speckley one in future though! Thanks again, David.
falcons1988 me too and thanks for your enthusiasm! Just working on another black and white video now which should hopefully see the light of day soon :)
