This programme was made in 1988 and 1989 when the Settle to Carlisle Railway was under threat of closure. It was only ever released on VHS, not making it to DVD. Now it is a historic reminder of what we almost lost.

Many thanks from Oz...I won't make it to U.K due to health but your channel is the next best thing! I loved watching railscene VHS back in the 80s.
