In my bubble app settings I have 4 sets of dns addresses, 4 without name, and 4 with www. Do I put all of them in to the dns management page of my hostprovider?
Hi Bryan, thanks for the comment. If I understand you correctly, at 1:42 of this video, instead of seeing these 4 items from Bubble you are seeing 12? Did you try adding them all and did that do the trick?
Very helpful! What if I already have hosting for the index page (for seo) and want to go to my bubble app to use the application I built within bubble? Would I mess with the bubble setting to do this? I somehow feel like if I have one domain mydomain created with Wordpress and have a button or link to the bubble app the bubble app wouldn’t have my domain as the root, is there a way to register a secondary page in bubbles settings? Sorry for the long winded question.
Hi Lumin, it's a common setup to have the main domain hosted off of Bubble for SEO/marketing purposes and then use app.yourdomain.com for the Bubble site. In this case, you'd simply add app.youdomain.com in the box at the 1:00 mark and then only add the two non-www A records in your domain's DNS settings area. That is the setup I have for checklist.nocodeacademy.co/.
Hi, it was helpful tutorial, but I would like to change also name in browser tab for name of my custom domain. In your tutorial is the same. After changing domain for "simlehardthings" there is still "Bubble" in browser tab name. How to change it? Did you make tutorial about that?
Hi thanks for the comment. Good question -- to do that go to the page and on the left side under the Elements Tree, click the top most item for the page. This will open the Property Settings Panel. In the Appearance tab, the first item is Page title. Give that the value you want and repeat this process for all pages on your site. Hope that helps.
Not at the moment but have done it twice myself, once on my own using a webview template and once with BDK as a solution, if you would like consulting help on the process please visit calendly.com/nocodeacademy/1-on-1-bubble-consulting-30-min.
