You're the MAN, JP!. I'm not beginner, but I like your videos. I'm working on a project for an association (Spina-Bifida association), and I'm stacked with the good amount of data, how to present it. what I did first, I created a long long pages with TOC (table of content). but I didn't like it, even though the client were really satisfied. Now I have a solution, I'll transfer the long pages into a knowledge base page. Thanks JP! you're my HERO.

Hi there, I love your video but I can't seem to get back to the place to add the KB to the menu as I thought I clicked that but it is not showing up as a page. Can you guide me? Thank you.

This is very informative. I've always wondered how to do it. Now I know. Thx. Also, do you know of an interface or a plugin that integrates with blogging module but for those who write the articles, I don't want them to do it in WP Admin area?

Hi, Asit. Many thanks for the feedback. If you are referring to only the text, you can do that in a word processor, like Word. But if you want to bring in other stuff like images, styling, etc, that can only be done within the WP editor. I'll explore this a little more.

@@Websites4Beginners The problem is that my users are not tech-savvy. I can't give them WP editor. All they want is an editor (like word) that would update the WP blog.

thanks a lot for the video. It worked for me. But do you have any recommendation for wordpress theme? I tried a few themes but they doesn't look so nice. Also, when I try some themes, knowledge base link on the Wordpress homepage disappears.

Just for your info, try to check whether you have updated version or not. Does that theme support the version you use.

Does the free-version have a comments-feature so you can start discussions about "the article" below the article as e.g. in Blogs?

Not sure. I will have to relook at it this year and will look into this. However, I think it should be something you can add separately to the knowledge base. Cheers. JP

@@Websites4Beginners Ok. Thanks! I've also watched a "BetterDocs"-tutorial in the meantime and found a comment-feature there. After your great explanations here it was quite easy to transfer this new knowledge, no matter which software I finally use. But I'm also not so sure anymore if it's really such a good idea to separate the comments in this manner. Maybe it's better to discuss everything at one point with a software like "Discuz" like here on RU-vid.

@@fanofcameron I'd probably go that direction as well, as Discuz is primed towards comments and works pretty well integrated with WordPress. BetterDocs is pretty nice too. One day hopefully will get around to doing a few videos on it too. Cheers! JP
