Setup and servicing tips for SaMASZ Front Mowers 

Here are a few tips on how to set up and service the SaMASZ front mowers.
As you can see, they're very open and easy to work on, and set-up is very simple - the key thing is the hitch height measurement from the linkage ball down to the ground being between 600 to 650mm. This will create a gap from the mower frame down to the bump stop of approximately 300mm.
If your tractor has the feature of being able to automatically set the hitch height at a certain measurement, this makes things very simple, but if not, the chains provided with the mower can be attached to the tractor and set so the hitch won't go lower than the recommended height.
Adjusting the cutting height by simply adjusting the toplink to suit, and you can easily see how much this is being adjusted but the cutting height gauge on the side.
Servicing - changing the oil in the gearboxes and cutterbar after the first 50 hours of use, then annually or every 500 hours after that. And obviously keeping it greased every day when in operation, which is very simple to do with the grease points clearly marked and easily accessible.
