Hi, quick question. At 0:48 you mention it can be wall mounted. But if you mount it to a wall, won't all the recordings be sideways, tilted 90 degrees? Also, quick note, if you hang it upside down from the ceiling it seems to not make as much noise when the camera pivots.
its skip wifi setup when its conected with hotspot after then it fastly show wifi conection but within half second it skip wifi conecting setting.and ask for device pasword/safety code,when i put its safety code its show wrong pasword. Even many time i reset it or restart it. but same issue face
Though the camera has 360 degree rotation,we can select only current view portion area in general detection zone.Is there any option to complete area in general detection zone
Nice Video Thanks for taking the time to post it. This camera is like the one I have had for 2 years now called the Amcrest ASH21. Yours has some features that mine lacks but is almost 100% the same. With that said I wonder if your camera is a 2021 or a 2019 or 2020 camera and has one of the issues that the ASH21 has. While you setup for Wifi if you connect the camera to Eth0 for any reason or maybe even setup on Eth0 to start with and wanted to move it to wifi at the location your going to install it. Does all the ports on Wifi side close and things like NVR's or the Dahua Desktop software still able to work or does it show offline. Mine at first didn't have that issue wasn't until little while after others had reported they had the issue that I found (start of this year I think) that I also now have the issue.. The Mobile app still worked just RTSP and other ports in the cameras were no longer active. Only way to cure this was to Reset the camera to factory and setup on Wifi again.
hi Revo2Maxx, yes this is an older unit that was refreshed and launched about a year ago. Its Dahua i assume even though it goes by another name. I did set it up via Ethernet but it only allowed that if i did do a reset. The manual (quick start only available) says very little. I found quite a few bugs setting it up. It seems one has to decide if you are using Ethernet or wifi from the beginning. If i tried to plug in the ethernet once it was already set up using wifi, the ethernet didnt do anything. There is compatibility with Dahua cameras on the network, was able to stream other dahua units. I could not stream the unit to SmartPSS though.
@@ecologicaltime Thanks for taking the time to check that out. Yeah what is odd on mine when you setup the device first time it asks how it will be setup and on the Ethernet mode it does say ONLY. The odd thing is there are some people that have the ASH21 that has same issue as yours where with mine if I have the cable in I have access to 2 IP addresses and 2 Mac Addresses. Where others reported they had access to 2 IP addresses but only 1 Mac I personally find that strange but I guess it could be that the system was made with only 1 that it would share depending on the setup. Most of my Other Dahua and or Amcrest if they have Wifi and connected to Ethernet offer 2 ip's 2 Mac's and in truth that is how it should be seeing they are 2 different Network Connections. But anyway, Thanks for taking the time. I see Loads of things that Dahua has that Amcrest has but there are some Software differences and or some features that Dahua removed. My 4116E will no reset with the Switch. I removed the MB even and took out the Battery trying to get it to do a Reset. I know it tries to because on the Data dump it talks about doing a Reset but then says that it fails to reset and will recover the last boot. So if I had to guess either the NVRAM that it tried to access and fails might be just bad connection on a BGA chip or there is some damage that is outside of the scope of what can be seen on the board. The Machine works so that isn't a total fail I just need to Unlock the Email Pwd Reset that for some reason Dahua has my Mail server blacklisted lol. IF I send a Request from the email in the NVR I don't get a Reply and nothing happens. However if I send the Request with my MSN email I get a reply that they are sending it to my .US email but never comes. I have added them to my Whitelist so it isn't on my side it is in their Server for the reset. I know this because if I send one to the server and transpose the email like it goes to support_gpwd and say I did gpdw instead I get an email back from Dahuatech telling me I must have spelt it wrong try again lol SO it is the password server that has me blocked not the mail server
It is strange that there are these peculiarities with the network interfaces. BY thew way, I have yet to reset any Dahua NVR with a button. I only do it with the software reset. I once lost an NVR when doing a firmware update. After the update the machine would not register a camera. Even the supplier could not get it right. The best news was that they refused to honour the warranty saying its not broken but its practically useless after the update. The firmware i got from Dahua website, matched the model etc. I learned my lesson, i dont update unless absolutely necessary. I still think Hikvision is better, never had these types of issues. The mail sever blocking you refer to is no laughing matter, thats annoying! The life of IT...
@@mohamedelazab8386 You can add as much as you like as long as you Format to have the camera support the 256gb max that it supports. So to be honest it would be a waste to use a 1tb card in this camera as this camera only support a max of 256gb. The good news is, this camera supports a Micro SD card to start with. There are some other companies out there that are only Cloud only support for cameras that cost 4x as much and then take away the free cloud based usage within a year or 2 of buying the device. Just to cause the End user to spend hard earned cash to buy a new one.. Setup right 256gb is going to be enough space to keep a good amount of data for long while. I have AI cameras that I have 128gb Micro SD as backup to full time recording on my NVR's..
We ve a couple of imou ranger , and some dahua eyeball cameras installed in an 8 channel nvr. We want to change thier IPs but we dont know thier passwords and the person who initialized them is not responding. Can you please HELP. How to reset ot
I have installed the camera it was working great but now some one tried it to add to different email ID and password. When I wanted to connect again I am getting a wrong user ID and password. Guide me .
