I’m about to setup mine with 8 IP cameras and still not sure of how to go beyond 300ft. With your demo videos it helps a lot. I just need to get my materials to fit my setup. Thank you
You mentioned it is beyond 300ft. What is the maximum lenght? If the maximum lenght is less than 800ft, you can use the general switch with CCTV mode. It will downgrade the speed to 10mbps to achieve 800ft data network. You still need to consider the power loss inline (or total power budget). While the lenght is beyond 328ft, you always need to calucate the power loss. The PoE extension never repeat the power because the powe can't be repeated. It is the energy.

Can I connect multiple NVR's to a single Internet Source using the Wireless Bridge. I have to NVR systems, one in building A, and another in building B, but my Internet Router is in Building A and I want to see the cameras from building B also without paying for another Internet Router for building B? Thanks! Love your Video by the way! 😎👍
Yes, you can set wireless bridge between building B and the building A. Since you have set the NVR in building B, so the footage will keep storage locally at building B. If you pick the 900Mbps bridge, you will have about 250Mbps speed in the really situation. It can carry multiple cameras from the NVR, but you might don't have the all the high resolution like what you get on the building B.

I love watching ur videos that way i learn more from u guys well done and keep it up. Also i like to know how i can purchase some of the materials and products, POE EXTENDER & FIBER OPTIC CABLE & MANY MORE. I am writing u from Nigeria pls reply
The wireless bridge comes with 2 LAN ports. This allows you to connect 2 IP cameras directly. If you have more cameras, simply add a network switch at the remote bridge to expand the connections. Please contact our support team at support@fastcabling.com for personalized assistance.

Great easy practical explanation Thank you I had a question: On one NVR 12 channel with PoE switch, and 100 mbps bandwidth, How many maximum no Hik-connect mobile users and laptop users can use? is there any limitation ?
@@Fastcabling Thanks for immediate reply👋 Yes but I couldn't find any document / videos specifically on Hik-connect user limits. If you made any video on user limits in future Please let me know Thanks in Advance🤝
Yes, the PoE extender can repeat 328ft data network. You will need to have PoE switch or PoE injector at one end before it can send the power inline to that PoE extender at the middle. This is the one I mentioned. www.fastcabling.com/product/poe-extender/
I like your stuff and your videos. Can I ask a question I got a Orbi I have a satellite mesh network set up I connected one that is 500 ft I put a poe on the cable and one of the extender in the middle. Is it important that end the Poe be on the router side or can it be on the satellite side of my system it is between two mesh satellites that are hard cat 6e cable can I put it in either side or do I need it one one side only thanks
You need to pick correct version of POE extender. That PoE extender has power handshaking since the edge device doesn't need PoE. I assue you only have one satellites with incoming data, not two. If this is the case, you can set the PoE injector at one end and put the PoE extender at the middle, then whatever network device at the second end.
That depends. If you're interested, you can contact us for a free solution design. Please email us at support@fastcabling.com or submit your inquiry here: www.fastcabling.com/free-solution-design/ Please include your layout if available.
i have a Swann NVR8-8580 will it support a POE switch, but not really sure if i need the POE switch Im wanting to add on a pan tilt camera at approximately 450 feet would i need a POE switch or do i only need a POE extender
Swann NVR8-8580 supports PoE directly through its built-in PoE ports (you can find this info in its full specs or consult the manufacturer). You can connect PoE cameras directly to the NVR, and it will provide both power and data transmission over a single Ethernet cable per camera. You'll need a PoE extender if you want to add a PTZ camera at 450ft as the maximum transmission distance for PoE is limited to 328ft. Wld like to project the output of the 8 cameras on a centralised screen. What products would you recommend. Thanks
Hello, Out sport field has purchased a long-range Fast Cabling 1500 feet POE switch and also a Waterproof Direct Burial PoE Extender . My application is unique. I use a laptop and video producer (attached together via HDMI). Video Controller (LVP100U+MSD300-1)RU-vid etc.at 6 cable ....to send feed ...to large a LED screen to display LIVE scores and other videos (e.g. RU-vid etc.) during the games at the sports field. The older LED score board was only 200 feet away so no issued. The new large LED scoreboard is 940 feet away. Please advise how may I use this "1500 feet switch solution (with or without Fast cabling Waterproof Direct Burial PoE Extender) with my PC+ Video Controller . I am NOT using a camera in this scenario. I may try using other ports on this switch for my NVR ++ 3 POE cameras, if it works Please advise....
Are you referring to Method#3 outdoor PoE powered switch? Currently, we have only developed an 8-port version, which can connect up to 7 devices. But there is another option: you can use a composite/powered fiber cable to transmit power and data simultaneously to an 8-port outdoor PoE switch to connect more cameras at once. If you're interested, we can also provide free solution design for our customers. Our team of experts will come up with a tailored design for your setup. PSE is Power Sourcing Equipment that provides power to other devices over an Ethernet cable to simplify the setup of network devices, especially in situations where power outlets are not readily available. PD (powered device) refers to devices that receive power from a PSE over the Ethernet cable. Examples of PDs include IP cameras, VoIP phones, wireless access points, and other network devices.
