What's still baffling to me is that part where musicians are becoming overnight billionaires. It doesn't add up. I was born into a music family and to some extent, I know some deep stuff. Even KSA, Baba Obey, Dele Abiodun, SSP, IK Dairo, Fela, Okosun, etc played excellent music for decades before becoming rich. Music no dey bring money like that. Go and ask the likes of Micho Ade, Wale Thompson, et al. To become a sustained millionaire in the music industry without adding drugs, cultism, or money laundering for politicians, you would have to toil for years because there is a lot of deep stuff involved. Not all the money you see sprayed at events goes to the musicians. Most of it is taken back after the parties. It's just a decoy.
