This is the reason why many of us love Seungjae. It's not just cos he is very smart and talks well. It is cos he has such a compassionate heart for a 2 year old. He is kind, friendly and polite to everyone he meets, regardless of race, age, looks, humans, animals and even mannequins! He shares readily and is always cheerful and bright. A little ball of sunshine. Kudos to Jiyong and his wife.

His emotional intelligence is through the roof. His is even higher than a lot of adults. I'm stilled so baffled that a kid his age, rather than being scared or disinterested in the beggars, heard their situation, understood it and empathized with them to the extent of crying and wanting to give away his own meal ticket so that they could eat. Love this kid.

Most people are born with empathy. Sometimes when there are multiple babies in a room, and one starts crying, all of the babies start crying. The hatred for beggers comes by what you're raised with.

It's not when you become scientifically an adult at 16 or 18 that you suddenly have empathy. People are born with that or not it is not something that came normally at 18 years old. 🤦‍♀️There are people with 0 empathy even at 70 years old.

kpop addicted that means your parents are not teaching her properly. Well mannered kids usually have really well mannered and organised parents. My sister would cry when she sees someone hurt or in danger, kids with empathy grow up to be strong, well mannered and respectful.

Honestly, we can learn a lot from Seungjae not because he's smart but was brought up with a caring heart. What we could take from this video is that Seungjae's parents did teach him to have compassion for those less fortunate. They raised him so well, which makes me want to raise my future children like that. I feel proud of him and seeing how caring he was, especially when he hugged one of them. Personally, it's better not to give homeless people money as they may use it for drugs ( which is why some end up homeless) We may buy them food and set an example or even inspire many people or maybe get them help somehow. I remembered that I came across this quote: *“The simple act of caring is heroic.” - Edward Albert.*

Most children would be afraid to see beggars, but this child is a gem. However, regardless of a person's physical appearance he never judge a person from their looks but from their heart. His enormous sympathy to all living creatures is just heartwarming. I am a parent too and whatever the outcome of your children always reflects the parents. They did a good job raising seungjae coz the parents also have beautiful heart just like their son.

Its very rare that a child that young can hold such empathy. 99% of them are naive and unfazed which is natural. To know a kid isn't self-serving and has an understanding of others and can imagine their pain or immediately cry for them. What a great kid and kudos to his parents!! :)

Children are closest to nature. The way Seungjae gave whatever he had to the beggar at 1:03 made me realize how far we have drifted apart from kindness and empathy. I pray to God that he guides me to the right path. I got tears seeing him cry in empathy for the beggars. I applaud the way Jiyong and his wife raised their child. I hope they groom him into an amazing person.

This was aired years ago but I still rewatch it. I love how the parents in this show make efforts to be the ideal parent. Jiyong appa improved a lot compared to the beginning of the show.

Seungjae is very different from other children as even though they may also cry upon seeing the beggars it may be for reasons such as being scared of strangers. However, Seungjae not only seemed to understand why they were sad but could also empathise with them which is a skill even some grown-ups struggle to achieve. His parents have raised him well, he will grow up to be a very respectable young man and probably end world hunger while he’s at it😂❤️. I think it’s safe to say that Seungjae has stolen everyone’s hearts.

I watched this so many times and I still have the feels of what the beggars said "why are you crying on a beggar?" 😭 and then he called out when the beggars leave "uncle's don't cry anymore. Buy food with the money." 😢 and his thought "I will cook for them.." 😩

I stop watching this show since the Song Triplets left last 2016, but after knowing that Ko Jiyoung had join, I was just trying to check his son but I ended up falling inlove with Seungjae's personality. He's a handsome/cute kid. He is a cool kid with a dog XD. He is so genius, kind and talented but at the same time a troublemaker one, he likes to tease his dad, at a very young age he really good at talking with everyone. That made me surprise tho, because he's an only child and nothing to talk with at home, maybe his parents did a great job esp his mother. KBS did a great job accepting Ko Jiyoung tho. I had a reason to watch now. I am looking forward to William too. I love you Seungjae, love from the Philippines.

Children may be more naive but they have much more empathy and kindness, I remember as a child I cried when someone else dropped their lollipop because they couldn't eat it anymore. It sucks to grow up and just lose that compassion

remind me of myself. when i was 8, i remember i cry heavily after saw a dad want to buy a bun but put it back after fail to find his money in his pocket. i cry all night just by that simple view.i cant see any child cry or beg, i will have a sleepless night for thinking bout how unfortunate they are. now i am 25, really stubborn and had a stone heart. when i saw beggar, i simply walk pass them without feeling anything more. and sometimes when street kids come and tell they are hungry, i sigh and told them to go away. i am so dissapointed with myself too. idk why i change this bad
