One of my favorite things to do when watching these videos is trying to find Gertrude. I just recently played Gertrude in a production and it was sooooo fun!! These guys did amazing!!!!
Yeaahhhh, boys usually don't like to participate in school plays because they think it's lame or uncool. This is the case for my school. We only have 1, or if we're lucky, 2 boys join. So girls will often play male roles.
So some background info: We are Muscial Theater Workshop (MTW) which is a summer camp that includes boys and girls in grades 5-10 We run for five weeks of 3.4 hour days and have three shows on the final week Our director is Ms. Rebecca Salgado I’m so proud to be a cast member of this show, I was a fish! This year’s production is Charlie and The Chocolate Factory (I’m an Oompa Loompa 😋) Mayzie was Emma Jojo was Luke Sour Kangaroo was Diana I’m literally shook about how popular our performance got! Hope y’all enjoy it.... -An MTW attendee Edit: Gertrude was Morgan
they're not lip syncing. The only thing is during Having a Hunch (the tap number), there is a backtrack because that song isn't in the junior version but they added it in because there were so many talented tap dancers in the cast
it was a summer camp at our high school local (it goes from 6th graders to 10th graders) its really fun every year, I think we are doing Charlie and the chocolate factory this summer!
