I've use it in a lot of situations and haven't had problems. If you're aiming to film without any lights though, the pockets might be better suited for that due to their dual native iso.

Hi, The Usra is super 35mm, while the lens are for full frame. So aren't the cropped? 50mm becomes 30mm, 18mm becomes 12mm and 35mm is 22mm. I'm trying to understand how lens work. The video is still bloody good. Thinking of getting the Ursa Mini 4.6K.

Stunning alexa like footage ! Did you try the ump G1 or G2? if yes, did you notice any differences in the image quality compared to the original ursa mini ?

I've tried both the G1 and the G2. I love the features like ND that the G1/G2 brings over the original. Highly recommended just for that. But the G2 is my favorite out of those due to the faster RS times. It's something you'll notice with fast action (or handheld even). The color is also different on the G2 (at least to me).

Thank you! It's only happened 1 or twice in the last few years. With Blackmagic RAW out, it shouldn't happen though. At least that's what I predict!

in what way the use of lenses specifically influence in the image? for an example, in 0:28, that unfocused effect in the background is caused by a lense, right?

How come you have so much light just using ISO400? I think about renting the UMP for a music video but I'm a bit worried about ISO preformance. 1:47 must be more than 400, What's the apeture on that shot? how do you bring in so much light?

It was a bit brighter but we also brought the exposure down. Aperture was problem 1.8.

in raw I keep some in 400, the fire scene was partly at 200 for monitoring but brought up to either 400 or 800 in post.

Around 90% is raw 4:1. Rest are 3:1 and a couple of prores. The majority of the shots closer to the end are newer and either 3:1 or Prores.

Thanks for taking the time to watch! With the original, I found changing the NDs something that was a hassle for me. The UMP G1 and G2 both added internal NDs and that really changed the way you could shoot with it.
