We spent the first weekend of October in the Chelan-Entiat Mountains of Washington State. With our eyes set on Seven Fingered Jack (9,100') and Mount Maude (9,040'), we set out Friday night and slept over at the Phelps Creek Trailhead. On Saturday morning we hiked up to Leroy Basin where we set up basecamp for the weekend. After lunch at camp, we tackled 7FJ and enjoyed absolutely perfect conditions. The following day we left camp for our second objective, Mount Maude. This was the easier objective of the two, so we enjoyed a leisurely day on the beautiful mountain before packing up camp and heading out. 20.9mi | +9,094' Elevation Gain #lifeisbetteroutside
