Teach Dem ....can you do a profile on a policeman no one in Jamaica or abroad want to mention is name, people are so terrrified to chat about him only your good good brethren take the chance and whisper in your ear about him. His nicknames are " ONE A DAY" or " HOX". He operated on his own and enough man left yard when him a look for them, also he told the DJ's in Jamaica if his name is mentioned in any record or in public......them dead! He used to kill 5 man a day on average, but his bosses had a word with him to limit it a bit, that's why his infamous name came about. If you don't want to profile him, I would agree with you 100%.
Big up Mr. Reneto Adams. He did his job well, the best way he could. Never hear of him killing any innocent. Jamaica would be a better place if he was given the job as Commissioner. And so, we are paying dearly.
No we don't need man like those again. What we need is greater than them. If they did the right thing in the middle seventies eighties and nineties. We wouldn't have been where we are today. Killing didn't stop the other generation to do better. It cast them to be bitter, revengeful, angered, hateful, so we need better policing. Sometimes we have to go back into the past then step away from it.
WATT can I say. I was Trinity's tenant somewhere in the late 80's. I met Laing on a beach in Jamaica, had a brief security talk with the man but I just want to give thanks to all of them for their services to the country.
Much respect to all these brave lawmen that served this country with honour, fearlessness and pride. I grieve to see what my beloved country has become after all tha sacrifices that they have made. This, I believe, is lack of leadership, integrity, honesty and decency from our politicians from our two political parties. I'm my opinion, there should be a an Adam's team assigned to every parish in Jamaica to combat the high murder rate and gang activities. I smiled after viewing this video clip because I personally know three of these guys .. Bigga Ford, Cowboy and the late Hewitt. I came to know all three of them through one of my best friends who is still a Superintendent of police. Three months before Hewitt died, he and I along with my Supt friend from MoBay and two other friends sat to have a drink at Courtliegh Hotel bar/lounge in New Kingston. Little did I know it would be the last time I would see him. Life makes me shake my head many times.

Reneto was my guy, no matter what. Jamaica is currently in a deplorable state. There was a lot more that was being curtailed then. And, there was fear in most of these so called "badmen". There is bad, worse and worst, it has now reached its worst. Corruption in politics is and will always be everywhere, no matter what we do it will NEVER be completely eradicated, but better results if curtailed. Do you think 80% of these murderers want to have a conversation?I am not a big fan of the “wild west” mentality, but if that is what it takes to decrease our murder rate until they clean house in other troubled areas of crime, oh I will absolutely take it. I think it's better to have policemen men who are respected than heartless ones. We always see our solution in violence. This is what the criminals see too. I am not saying we shouldn't have fearless policemen, but they should also fair. I don't think police should be labelled as bad man. Bad man has no regard for law, but police should be upholding it.

The story goes that before Trinity became a cop, he had a brother living in England, and his brother had saved up to buy him a Bulova watch for his birthday. One day when Trinity was wearing the watch in Jamaica, he was robbed at gunpoint and the robbers took the watch from him. It was the only thing of value he ever owned, and it deeply hurt him. He vowed to become a police officer and got the job 2 years later. Ever since then him gi di badmandem pure hell. If yuh did even cross yuh yie pon him, him would'a kill yuh. Police had all the freedom to kill in those days. No questions asked. There are no official numbers of the men that he killed. But legend has it, it was upwards of 30-40 men. Di man even used to walk through Tivoli by himself fi look fi bad man. He was the cop who killed Dennis "Copper" Barth at the racetrack on a early Sunday morning. A well known badman from the PNP who was one, if not THE most feared bad man in Jamaica other than Natty Morgan.

Several (Ninja Man & Super Cat) artistes were "given" free passes to carry around their gunz on & off stage because they work for him. Laing never did like Vybz Kartel & so was treated differently because of his refusal to work for less than was offered. Like some of Kartel's songs but no fan of the artiste.
