Top 5 Sam Rockwell performances to me: 5) Charlie´s Angels 4) Moon 3 ) 7 Psychopaths 2) The Green Mile 1) Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri ...........................
I love Hans. I was blown away by the twist of him being the Quaker. The story he told to the recorder was a good note to end his character on. I think it represents the darkness he went through when seeking revenge and the light he found with his wife. Look forward to the Three Billboards reaction.
What's really cool is that all three of those killers were real killers who were never caught in real life and the story about the monk who burned himself to death to protest the war is also a true story!
The line "You can't let the animals die in the movie, just the women!"was in reference to the studio blocking the directors original ending, where Bonnie is killed in the shootout. "Your gay dogs gay head is gonna fucking explode!" "He doesn't have a GAY HEAD. He has a NORMAL head!" XD "I ain't going back to five! I ain't going back to five!"
Great reaction! Please react to 'The Guard.' John McDonagh, the brother of this director wrote and directed it. If you like 7 Psychopaths and In Bruges, you;ll definitely like it!
The ending scene of the monk burning himself is based on a true story called the burning monk.... it was an act of protest against the Vietnam War and the discrimination against their religion... two monks poured gasoline on one monk then walked away and the one monk lit a match and stayed perfectly still as he burned alive and didn't make not one sound.. the rest of the monks block fire trucks from putting out the fire till there was nothing left then they he prayed over his body
3:47 i really like how this scene looks, that sunny lighting. or the yellow/orange filter that it's using. i know it has NOTHING to do with the sopranos, but in season 1 in a handful of episodes they had that same look, i remember a particular scene at the garbage dump near the water with the bridge. they show that place a couple times but i think it's at the end of an episode after Tony talked to Vin the detective
I think if you like this you will also like The Guard. Its made by this directors brother. Very similar dark humor tone. It stars Brendan Gleeson and Don Cheadle.
Just saw y’all’s react videos for the first time today, loving it so far! Ever heard of a comedy called Cedar Rapids? A react to that could be pretty fun. Attack the Block or Hell or High Water would also be cool in my opinion. Thanks for the laughs!
I like this movie. I can't believe somebody is actually reacting to it. I would like to request A SOLDIER'S STORY. It is one of Denzel Washington's earlier movies and it is great.
I LOVE 2 scenes in this that were cut from the reaction. :( "Well thats just fucking GREAT! Oh GREAT! You know what that is!? D'you know what that us!? Thats just FUCKING GREAT!" And Walken's put your hands up scene!
Fuck yeah. If you're really feeling Martin's films, you should try John Michael's too, his brother. They're more inhospitable and introspective but awesome all the same, Calvary especially.
@jimmymacaram or more accurately your mate. all psycopaths (by order of appearance) . seriously tho i love your reviews. i think you shout finish martin mc donagh work. he also directed the guard (a movie about irish police) and 3 billboards outside ebbing missouri.
