Seven Seas Restaurant, ca. 1961, Edmonton, Alberta 

The Seven Seas was my Uncles restaurant, we enjoyed a private multi course meal there in 1970 it was terrific. Thanks for the memories.

Just came across this video and did it bring back memories. I was 7 at the time and my Dad loved Seven Seas Chinese food. He took the family out for dinner there about once a month.

I took my wife there on Valentine's Day in 1966 when I proposed and we've been married for 57 years on June 11.

I ate at most of the good downtown restaurants of the 70's....Seven Seas, The Beachcomber, Tiki Tiki, The Steak Loft.....so many memories!!

I remember running up and down the aisles there (bad kid) and also the little orange trees in the window. Nice memories.

The Silk Hat was still running past 2000 I believe. Full of nostalgia

No that was the Mayfair Hotel that was torn down.

Does anyone remember the address? Was this between 105 & 106 Street Jasper Ave?

It was always a big deal for the family to dine out at the Seven Seas. Oh, and the Tiki Tiki.

did you notice that the two ladies took their time to eat and didn't gobble their food down like Homer Simpson like they do these days?
