It is the location of Manitoba Hydro's Seven Sisters Generating Station and the Whitemouth Falls Provincial Park.
A series of seven rapids that were located along the Winnipeg River which are now the site of the hydroelectric dam.The Seven Sisters Power Dam is the largest and most impressive on the Winnipeg
River. It generates an average of 990 million KWh annually, with a roaring 18.6 metre
waterfall drop at the dam. Water from Natalie Lake which makes up the fore bay has
an area of 21 sq. km.
