Seven Spires will release their fourth studio album, titled “A Fortress Called Home”, on June 21st, 2024, via Frontiers Music srl. The highly-anticipated follow-up to “Gods of Debauchery” (2021) takes their signature blend of symphonic, power and extreme metal to new heights, and drags the listener to the deepest abysses in the process. “A Fortress Called Home” was produced, mixed, and mastered by guitarist Jack Kosto. Frontwoman Adrienne Cowan comments: “I visited the void twice while writing this album. I don’t know which begat the other. It’s ugly. I love it and I hate it, and I think it’s our best work yet.”

I know this is months old, but I felt like bingeing some Seven Spires reactions tonight and came across this one. I saw them a couple months ago in Boston sandwiched between Ad Infinitum and Kamelot and everything you said about their live show is 100% true. I had never heard of them before that night, but I walked away an instant fan. They really made the night. Meanwhile, since "A Fortress Called Home" came out, I've been listening to it nonstop. Best metal album of the year so far, IMO. So as a fan, despite being a relatively new one, thanks for doing these reactions. I think reactors like you can definitely help artists get much-needed exposure, and this is a band that is CRIMINALLY underappreciated. They should be MUCH bigger and better known than they are. Hope that with this album they reach a new level of success - I'd love to see them headlining some day.

You’re totally right I just saw them opening up for Kamelot And they stole the show I remember her from firstBourne, and did not know about this band shame on me, but I’m a total fan now forever I am a singer and I was totally amazed by what I saw. Amen.🙏

Great song it hits right for sure for me. Charismatic Voice had a question about who is forging the future of music, and I mentioned Seven Spires among the ones I said. I first heard them on your channel same with Eleine another band that I have many songs on my playlist! Thanks for the reactions OSN!

Awesome new song! YES i saw them on the Dragonforce tour. YES every band was great. And YES they stole the show.! Now they are one of my favorite bands. Initially because they are phenomenal live. Cant wait for a new album. Way to go again OSN.

I agree you need to listen to the albums not just the videos. For me their debut album Solveig is my favourite . Burn and Cabaret of Dreams are my favourite tracks from that album.

I've seen them live with Eluveitie as the opening and they totally stole the show. Didn't knew them yet and Eluveitie is one of my favorite band and I would have paid the full price only to see them and I would have been more than satisfied. Goosebump all through their set!

I saw that tour too. I honestly felt bad for Omnium Gatherum, they're a good band but completely overshadowed live by both Seven Spires and Eluveitie.

@@aritapper4279 yeah that was my first time hearing them too. I liked it but they felt kinda odd in that line up in my opinion. Tho them filling in for Kriegel was a pretty spot on job!

Best thing about this is its everything they've done separately, in the same song, and somehow making it work. Which is impressive. But what it reminds most of is Lightbringer. My brain likes to classify things (even when it doesn't have to), and realized it has a disco catchiness to it. But it doesn't suck like most disco, and its got a lot more horsepower. Better written than any disco ever too. Honestly I can't find a single flaw to this song.🤷 Great reaction!

I saw them live for the first time 5 days ago and OH MY PHVQING GOD!!! I can count on one hand the bands I've seen that are this invested and confident in their performance! They took that stage like they owned it (because they did)! Played this song too! That show friggin' killed me! Thanks so much for this clip you really brought my attention to things I hadn't noticed myself, and it's always an unreasonable amount of fun watching your reactions!

Dude, we heard Seven Spires for the first time in the same setting. I saw them open for DForce in Tampa in 2022. I came there for Dragonforce but was listening to Seven Spires on my drive home. They’re my favorite band these days. Visions of Atlantis was really good too, but SS is just extremely special and amazing. Loved hearing you speak my thoughts
