Sir, I am awl struck by listening to all of your different explanations of the Bible and its interpretation of what God and Jesus are all about. I never really understood the entire purpose until I began listening to you. I have been ignorant of the good news. I was brought up in a Southern Baptist Church and attended faithfully until I was 3 years old when my father passed away and I quite really going. It was fire and brimstone, but I never really understood it until now 63 years later. Thank you, Pastor Allen, for helping me understand God and Jesus' message. Certainly enjoy the passion of pastor Allen, but I was taught & believe the continuous historical interpretation of Revelation ie that there are no gaps in the prophetic word & that Daniel & Revelation dovetail together predicting world history from the time of Daniel right to our own day, ie some 2,520 years of history...with Revelation giving more detail on the times of the gentiles!... That means at least some of the symbolic language & visions of Revelation belonged & took place in John's day ...@ least after the time of Johnn in AD 96 through to the time of Constantine in the 4th century AD....this was the period of the seals & the changing conditions in the roman empire...so all these changes took place a long time ago ...not crammed into some so called 7 years of tribulation in the future... The 7 trumpets visions in history took place soon after the seal periods & again the details of the 7 trumpets match the history of events which took place in roman empire...whilst the seals were about the conditions of the empire from John thru to Constantine, the trumpets were about invasions of the empire soon after Constantine & includes the goths & then the Vandals , Huns, etc about 10 nations who brought to an end the military power of the western roman empire..& therefore in ch 13 have mention of 10 horns of the beast. In the detail of the trumpets there is mention of 1/3 of the trees or grass or rivers or sea & even the sun & moon, these are symbols in Revelation to represent where & how the roman empire would be affected!! The trees 🌳 & grass represents certain classes of people where only a 1/3 of the roman empire affected, the rivers ie inland areas affected where the major rivers ran in the European part of the empire. The Vandals were mainly a maritime power & therefore a 1/3 of the seas ie the Mediterranean Sea of the roman world. A 3RD OF THE SUN, represents the king or ruler in a 3rd of the ROMAN EMPIRE & so on. Remember the Revelation wasn't just written for us it was written for the apostle John's readers & every generation since & all the details fit & there is still a lot to happen yet! ie from Revelation ch 16 v12- 16 & onwards!
Thank you pastor for wonderful messages. I am going through each and every message starting Rev 1 and now I am in Rev 8 and started this video. Earth is cursed because of sin. But why the sun, moon and stars are turned to dark as these are heavenly bodies. Even it is mentioned in the ACTS 2:20 I understand earth is cursed because of sin. Please help me understand.
You describe the seven trumpets Well it made sense to me , I think your right the part of the sun spots or one third of sun is likened to mostly darkness little to no light , who knows maybe also a effect of the super volcano smoke in the air or the wormwood blast it is also possible, not just as you stated a super natural occurrence.
Those bowls are full of our sins And that is what will be thrown on earth those days . Those are almost full when the last one is full then it begins...
@20:44 The huge mountain described in the 2nd Trumpet Judgment will probably not be an exploding volcano. I suggest it will probably be a comet. In fact, I think the censer thrown onto the earth in Revelation 8: 5 might be a poetic description of a comet, and the 1st to 4th Trumpets might all describe the same event seen from different angles. If I'm right, this will explain many of the events described in both Revelation 8 and 16. If "Wormwood" really is a comet that strikes an ocean, sea water and steam will be blown sky high. The impact will sink ships and kill sea life throughout the ocean basin, and cause earthquakes world wide. The ejected sea water, combined with vaporized bits of the comet and seafloor mud, will reach space, condense into big lumps, and fall back to earth just like the huge hailstones described in Revelation 16: 21. This ejecta will fall like meteors through the atmosphere, and heat flashes from the ejecta will set trees and grasses on fire. The lumps of saltwater hail will poison freshwater sources like lakes, rivers and aquifers, and the seafloor mud (which is red from hematite) will make the waters look red like blood. It will be like overripe figs falling to the ground all at once. Depending on particle size, some ejecta will remain suspended in the air for years and darken the sky like smoke, hiding the sun and the moon for most of the day except for the brief times they're highest above the horizon, like a fish's view of the sky from under water. From Revelation 8: 12, I'd suggest the sun and moon will only be visible for about a third of the day. The rest of the sky will look like a rolled-up scroll. This description of a comet impact and the ensuing ejecta also ties in with Revelation 18: 21 where an angel throws a boulder the size of a huge millstone into the ocean, and Isaiah 34: 4 which says "All the stars in the sky will be dissolved and the heavens rolled up like a scroll; all the starry host will fall like withered leaves from the vine, like shriveled figs from the fig tree." All this leads me to believe the LORD will send a comet during the tribulation to destroy the Antichrist's kingdom. It will happen exactly on time and, like Pharaoh who was powerless against the plagues of Moses, there'll be nothing the Antichrist can do about it. ========== Thinking of Moses, and thinking of comet impacts in oceans, here's something that will intrigue you. A comet crater has been found in the Indian Ocean and was dated to about 2800 BC. That's about the time of Noah! Such an impact would have caused a global deluge. If so, it's possible the rainwater that caused Noah's flood might have come from a comet impact. Google "Burkle Abyssal Impact Crater".
You can’t teach about the 7 Trumpets without first teaching about 8:1,2. Also, symbols don’t change meaning. You also can’t pick and choose when and when not to go from literal to figurative. This chapter has way more meaning than some science fiction story.
The tribulation is a greater exodus ofc it is! And God will ultimately prevail, despite allowing man the AC from desolating the sacred place! He will return and save His people! Period!
The white horse (Revelation 6:2) represents the spirit (Zechariah 6:5) of the gospel going out into all the world during the period between 1900-1920's. Jesus said the end would not happen all at once (Luke 21:9) and the first thing that must happen is for the gospel to be preached to all the world (Mark 13:10) and then the end will come (Matthew 24:14). White represents the holiness of the gospel, and the rider is holding a 'bow' of fabric and not a bow used for an arrow. The crown represents the crown of life and is free. This is the gospel crown of life gift with a bow on top for free and it conquers. The invention of radio and film during this time helped the gospel spread over the world. We’re the first generation to capture time and space on film/recording and we can play it forwards/backwards. We can watch and hear events that happened over a hundred years ago. During this period the first trumpet is blown (Revelation 8:7). Jesus said three things would happen before the birth pains took place: nation vs nation, kingdom vs kingdom, and famine/earthquakes (Matthew 24:7-8). And since the end will not happen all at once (Luke 21:9), we can take the teachings of a final seven-year period and throw it in trash with Jeremiah's 13's dirty underwear. The first event Jesus said would happen is 'nation against nation' (Matthew 24:7). But there have always been wars, so how can anyone know which one Jesus is referring to? While anyone can read these passages and get hope/encouragement/etc, they’re not written to everyone. Like Isaiah 45 predicting Cyrus +/-150 years before he lived, everyone read it as a hope. When King Cyrus was alive, it was read in the present grammatical tense by the generation alive; the one it was written to. Jesus is talking only to that generation alive that can see a significant war. In our generation WWI is the first trumpet event. WWI is the 'nation against nation' event and took place during the same period as the first seal. John is shown the event by either being taken to the actual field, watching it unfold, or shown a picture of the events. In Revelation 8:7 John describes what he sees. He would have no concept of our technology and could only tell you what he saw and not what it was. Planes were used in WWI to drop bombs. Planes dropped bombs and the flame thrower was used in WWI as part of the ‘Scorched Earth’ policy. The bombs are the hail, fire that are thrown on to earth and the blood is the result of that. John describes a scene where a third of the ground was burnt, a third of the trees were burnt, and all the green grass was burnt. He didn’t say the whole earth, but rather only what he was looking at. Kingdom vs kingdom was WWII and the time period was 1930-1960's. The 2nd seal has the red horse that takes peace and kills (Revelation 6:3-4). Communism rose to power and killed millions during this period, and is represented by the color red. The 2nd trumpet is awesome because John describes seeing a mountain on fire thrown into the sea, a third of the sea life on the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed (Revelation 8:8-9). The mountain on fire thrown into the sea is the Pacific Ocean atomic bomb test. They used live animals on the ships for testing and a third died. And one third of the ships in WWII were destroyed. Famine and earthquakes in varies places (Matthew 24:7-8) was the period 1980-2000. There's been earthquakes and famines forever, but we are the first generation to watch it on television. I remember the tv commercials asking for money for the starving children living in famine and watching all the earthquake around the world back in the 80’s-90’s. In the 3rd seal (Rev 6:5-6) John describes seeing a black horse with balancing scales used to weigh money/product. During the 80's communism fell in many parts of the world embraced capitalism/’democracy’. In capitalism (usually democratic nations) black represents a positive and if you're in the red, it's bad. The 3rd trumpet (Rev 8:10-11) happens during this time and gives a name, 'wormword'! Wormwood is a bitter herb and in the Ukraine the name is Chernobyl. Chernobyl was a nuclear power plant that blew up in 1986 and many died. The waters to this day are 'bitter', contaminated. The 4th seal (Rev 6:7-8) says 'pale' horse, but the word in Greek is 'chlóros' and is the same word used to describe the 'green grass' in Rev 8:7. It's a green horse (spirit) that kills with famine and sword and controls 1/4th of the earth. Islam’s color is green, it controls 1/4 of the earth right now, it kills with a sword, and most of it's African nations are killed by famines and they won't let them eat the wild animals because they're not 'clean' according to their customs. In the 4th trumpet the sun, moon, and stars go dark by 1/3. Google Time magazine's story 'Is Earth Getting Darker?' By J. Madeleine Nash Monday, May 17, 2004. It reports up to 35% darker recordings in certain areas. Just go outside at night and look up at the stars and you won't see very many due to light pollution. In the fifth trumpet John sees a 'star fallen from heaven to earth' (Revelation 9:1), which is an angel that dwells in an earthly king (Revelation 9:11) over the 'bottomless pit'. Revelation 12:4 & 9 shows 'stars' with the satan being cast out of heaven. Remember, Jesus saw the satan cast out like lightning (Luke 10:18). So, the war in heaven (Rev 12:7-9) took place at the time Jesus walked the earth. YHVH told those heavenly entities who thought they were gods that they would die like men (Psalms 82:6-7). How do spiritual entities die like men? They come to earth and dwell in men. They were with YHVH when he created the world (Job 38:7). Some left heaven and had sex with women, before the flood and after (Genesis 6:1-4)! YHVH gives us two examples of these entities becoming humans and dying in Isaiah 14 and Ezekiel 28. By the way, neither passage is about the satan. Isaiah 14 is a 'morning star' who dies, (v. 9) is in Sheol deep within the pit (v.15), and has sons that are killed (v.21); this isn't the satan. Ezekiel 28 is an anointed guardian cherub (v.14), burnt from the inside out, and is no more, forever (Ezekiel 28:14 & 18-19). The cherubim were placed at the entrance of the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3:24). The satan is a serpent/dragon and is a created beast of the field (Genesis 3:1) and is not a guardian cherubim or morning star. So, Isaiah 14 & Ezekiel 28 are not speaking of the satan. Back to the fifth trumpet. Jesus told us the events do not happen all at once (Luke 21:9), but these Zechariah 11 shepherds mislead their flocks when they speak of some final seven-year period. The events are spread out over time and the generation alive at the end, the generation that sees the 'one is' ruler (Rev 17:10), will be able to look back and see all these things that have unfolded while our shepherds spoke ‘stupid things without knowledge’ (Jeremiah 10:14) that were told to them by worthless seminary men. The fifth trumpet describes the Gulf Wars. The smoke from the bottomless pit, that darkened the sky (v.2), with the locust flying out of it (v.4), was the oil wells that were lite on fire by Saddam Hussein. We watched the news coverage of the entire sky filled with black smoke that blocked the sun and the Apache helicopter flying out of it. The locust like horses prepared for battle (v.7) (black metal plates) were the black Apache helicopters. Some had printed teeth on the nose of their helicopter (v.8). From the side, the helicopter looks like a scorpion with its tail up and bent forward (v.8). You can see the pilots' face in the cockpit (v.7) and some of the pilots were women (v.8). One of the wars officially lasted five months (v.10). The Iraqi troops were seeking to die, so they would get their virgins in heaven, but our troops did not kill them. They sought to die, but death eluded them (v.6). Remember the video of them surrendering by the 100's? Their king's name means 'destroyer' and Saddam Hussein's name means destroyer. You are in the sixth trumpet and seal right now (Revelation 9:13-21). Four middle eastern nations that are backed by a 200-million-man army kills 1/3 of earth and those that are left, still don't repent (Revelation 9:21). You might believe, but you won't have the faith to turn and repent. This is the difference between the sons of YHVH and the unknown believers (Matthew 25:9-13) & Luke 13:23-30). They have no faith to act upon their belief. Jesus asked if he would 'find the faith' when he returned (Luke 18:8). He didn't ask if people would believe, but rather would he find faith. The 200-million-man army is China, and they’ll support four nations that are around the Euphrates and a third of the world is killed by their three plagues. The Seals and Trumpet 1-5 have already happened. Watch out for the Zechariah 11 shepherds. They follow their own minds and YHVH's Holy Spirit is grieved by them when they prepare their lesson, write their worthless Jeremiah 13 underwear books, or talk about Revelation.
