I spent a weekend travelling up and down the line at the Seven Valley Railway's 1940's weekend event, my favourite preservation line and location in the country.
It's been some time since I've visited the SVR, possibly almost 10 years. I used to attend many events in the past and always wanted to dress up in their 1940's event. I finally achieved this ambition this year. This update shows the event and my experiences on this special weekend.
The SVR have an appeal to raise £1.5 million pounds to keep this magical line running. If you would like to help them out you can donate at their website or why not just go for a visit and enjoy spending your money with them.
