As a huge fan of Sevendust and Deftones, I lose my shit every time I listen to this blistering song. 🤘🔥 Same for Chino's collab with ill Niño's Faith No More Cover "Zombie Eaters".
Chino's voice is so haunting and smooth in this song I love how Sevendust choose him for the part it's a song where you just close your eyes, shut up and listen to the music. Diffidently a listen-to-while-driving-home song!
I have no idea why, but Chino's voice during the chorus reminds me so much of that female singer Bjork. I don't mean that he sounds like a girl or anything, it's the way he carries his voice so majestically yet makes it sound so wispy that sounds so similar to Bjork's style of singing. It's fuckin beautiful. Also this collab with Sevendust is just plain badass.
I remember when Gore first came out, someone uploaded "Prayers/Triangles" but with the audio slowed down, and Chino's voice slowed down reminded me of Q Lazzarus. But I mean that in a good way. *edit* Oh yeah Chino's other band Crosses did a cover of Q Lazzarus' Goodbye Horses too. She passed away earlier this year, RIP.
SLOW IT DOWN...I'M so winded I've fallen down...again I follow the walking dead Now that you found out - somewhat about me I wonder how long it will be before you leave SLOW IT DOWN - I'M so winded - SLOW IT DOWN I've fallen down...again
I'll admit, I came here for the first time because of Chino. But after my first listen, I come back every time for the simple fact that their voices mesh so perfectly together I can barely handle it without bursting into tears. Bomb song, bomb singers, bomb all the way around ♡
all these years later and this song is still amazing. I remember listening to this as a 13 year old just being totally immersed in the fusion of my two favorite bands of all time
its supposed to be! its all about being too drunk for your own good (at least thats my interpretation) and when youre fucked like that what are you... all over the place
Was looking for this comment, everyone's talking about those two voices but for me it's the riffs and the chords and harmonies that make this whole album so brilliant. John and Clint have to be my favorite guitar duo in the genre.
SIM!
Nah, not hip hop in particular.. I'd say I live in a Dave Matthews/college rock area (mehhh). Even the douche bartender told me and my friends one time "hey, no death metal tonight guys"..hahahaha. I put on Snot the song "Unplugged" and it got skipped by him. Needless to say I don't frequent that bar anymore.
This is one of the best cross-overs (band-artist) I've heard since Velvet Revolver and Soundgarden. I love how good Chino's voice blends with everything from Sevendust. This takes me back to the song he did with Korn called Wicked, which they covered from Ice Cube's song of the same name....
I have been a fan of both bands for several years and yet Ive never heard this song. The way Lajon and Chino come together on the vocals is amazing and the beat is kick ass. Love it
wow i dnt normally listen to Sevendust to be honest i only clicked on this bcuz of Chino frm Deftones, but this has changed my outlook on them. awesome song
