EXACTLY what I needed! I was surprised at the lack of detailed instructions that came with the 2 horizontal bar system that I purchased from Pelican for my 83 SC. I also worried about removing the tower bolts and whether the car needed to be unweighted (jacked up). Thank you for including the torque values. Now I'm turning the IMSA race back on TV, and installing the system on my baby in the man cave. Great video!

I just had a great comments from one of our friends in the forums over at PelicanParts.com which is that working on the car in this way without a cover for the front will inevitably end with a nasty scratch through the paintwork someday with a misplaced tool. I'm definitely ordering some covers asap and will cover this in a future video! ;)

Great video. I had pulled down the Porsche Strut Mount Instructions which looked easy enough... That being said, it's all about having the right tools and thinking through the set-up for a positive results. Well done sir! Thank you for your efforts and posting this for all.

Good job and commend you on helping those just entering the hobby! I highly suggest you get 101 projects for your Porsche from Wayne at pelican. First chapter tells you all the tools you need!

Hey you didn't mention how stiff is the strut brace ?? does it band or move??? because if it does than its pointless...

No it’s epic. I’ve had it in for over a year now and there is a noticeable improvement and it’s extremely well made. Can’t recommend highly enough if you are considering it!

I wish you tested it out to see the difference and also show in your video how stiff the bars are.... etc
