Dokyeom's voice is amazing and his range is also has a wide range. Thank you for making this video, this is so good and clear. Eemm btw can I make a request? would you like to make the Dk vocal range again? but from the songs he covers or seventeen covers (example: in immortal song, Decalcomanie-Mamamoo cover by svt, and another cover, or when he's in karaoke maybe). Because I'm very curious about it tho. Thank you
The other Main Vocalist of Seventeen's, DK, 2020 Studio Vocal Range is here! Throughout 2020 alone he got many chances to showcase all of his registers to adequate extents! While mainly his role in the group is to carry out the higher notes, his solo and collab projects came in action to let him show more from his other registers! Sorry for the mistakes in advance, please do let me know if you find some!^^ !!! DOESN'T INCLUDE HIDDEN/BACKGROUND VOCALS AND HARMONY !!! Thank you for watching! I'm NOT taking requests for this series, and will only do this for my faves (thus you can request if it's among my faves, refer to my community post), prioritizing Main Vocalists. @@halle7170 Hello! It's been requested and is already on the list!^^ I'm just putting the projects aside first for this temporary (?) 2020 vocal range videos!^^
Ah, yes, it's been so long since I do separate songs and I don't think I would again, but I will give it a listen later and list some of the notes, if you don't mind?
@@mrkphoric5244 Sorry I just got the time to!>< Here's a quick take: NCT Dream - Boom Vocal Range: C3 - C5 - C3: the last two 'Boom's in the chorus. - other than the C3s, there are no other notable lows as they are just around F3-G3 range in the verses (Haechan, Renjun, Jisung, Chenle) - C5: Haechan's adlibs right after the bridge, sustained. - Bb4: Renjun's bridge and run right after, phrased. Also Haechan's short adlibs in the last chorus. - F4-G4: pre-choruses (Haechan, Renjun, Chenle, Jisung)
@@angeljeonghan1091 Oh my God, I just realized I was wrong, my question was wrong. I'm sorry. Actually what I want to ask is D6 tone. How do you know that Dk can reach D6 notes? I know and I believe that DK can reach more than F#5. I mean, was there any song that he had sung that reached that high, D6? I once knew seventeen sang a cover 'Rising Sun' and Dk hit the high note, was it in that song? or that note was reach by Dk when they did vocal team battle at Yosodo? sorry if my english is bad.
@@nadiarizka287 On a song, I believe he hasnt gone that high yet, the highest being A5 from Mansae (last hook adlibs). I'm not sure about the D6 but probably that high note battle from OFD might fit the criteria. Also yes, DK even in studio has shown 3 octaves already!^^ A2-A5 so far but I believe he can still go lower!
His voice is great, and he has potential. But he has to work on eliminating the tension on his belts above F#4, and perhaps lighten his mix a little more since he tends to be quite chesty.
ahhhhh thanks so much for this! you put so much effort into these vids and i love the formatting and everything!!! i know you are probably busy but it was be so great if you could do a vocal highlights for seungkwan's forsake performance like you did for wendy's koms performances, its my fave cover. love the vids!! also, im fairly sure the phrased G#4s from 3:02 to 3:06 are seungkwans
I love your videos!! Thank you for posting these! I have two questions, but understand if you're busy and can't answer. First question: why do you list Seokmin's range as starting at A2 but the first sample in the video is E3? Is the A2 from a previous years performance and so not included in this video? Second question, I should actually post on Seungkwan's 2020 video...lol.
