Woozi is actually their main producer and lyricist and has been since before their debut ! He’s the main producer on all the tracks in this album and every other track in their discography. They also have the title of “Korea’s one and only self produced group” (given to them by the industry) bc they came straight out the gate with their debut track completely self produced and with the self made choreography as well (Hoshi is their main choreographer) and they are involved in everything from the music to the choreos to filming and editing their own mvs to designing merch to styling, like they’re the definition of hands on and genuinely self made artists !

"The fact that Woozi was on it and other members got on it too, makes me feel like they were all in the booth." Yes! And Woozi is on pretty much every single Seventeen song, he's a producer. And more often than not other members will join in the production/composition/writing process, especially Hoshi, Vernon and S.Coups. I mean of course the rap line (S.Coups, Vernon, Wonwoo, Mingyu) write their own stuff if they have verses in a song anyway. And in rookie days Woozi would literally set the Hip Hop Team assignments where they had to describe how they were feeling in relation to the song concept in the form of lyrics, to be edited and then used for their verses. Most of Seventeen stuff is straight from them - you would be hard pressed to find a song that doesn't have at least one of them on it (especially Woozi, who has produced - or co-produced majority of Seventeen songs with Bumzu who SVT has worked with for years). Sometimes there are other producers, lyricists, composers credited on songs too but there will still be Seventeen members involved and credited too. Especially Woozi, S.Coups, Vernon and Hoshi. There is never a song where someone makes the entire thing and just "gives" it to Seventeen if that makes sense, the members themselves always have a hand in some - if not most - of the sound. This has earned Seventeen the reputation as "self-producing idols" along with their titles of "kings of synchronisation" and "choreography kings", and they have been self produced from pre-debut right until now so 8+ years. They never stopped self-producing even now. Woozi works hard in his studio lol.

Face The Sun might be their best album yet, which is hard to say since they’ve been self produced since pre debut, but they really outdid themselves this time. Every song is a masterpiece and brings something new, which is crazy since Seventeen at this point they’ve done so many different types of sounds
