I watched a Korean reactor's video about "Cheers to Youth", and he explained that the word used here for "youth" does not mean young people. It refers to growth at any stage. So it's "Cheers to Anyone Having Growing Pains" if you will. :)
Jeonghan said that in "cheers to youth" mv, he represents a sensitive guy who just wants to see the world blurry (with the glasses he had on), but in the end he just got rid of them (after joining the tissue club with the other guys ), and he also said that hoshi in the end represents a guy whose problem is thinking he's a tiger🤣🤣🤣 I bet they added that scene to stop us from crying
The laugh I let out with this lol. That's not what happened, dear. It was already filmed but Gyu didn't want to include it because it's kinda out of nowhere. But Seungkwan convinced the mngt team (and so the prod/editing team) to include that bit.
S.coups is exempt from military service now because of his ACL injury - ACLs are deemed Grade 5 and unfit for completing the military's basic training due to the risk of reinjury for most ACL tears. Jeonghan obviously will go at some point, but until then he and Wonwoo just had a subunit single album announced for mid-June, so there's that to look forward to haha
Hi, i am back. Good reaction(LALALI), ty. Nice song. I knew u would like it. Yes, Wonwoo looks great! He is part of my wrecker line. He so handsome. That was a lot! 0.0 Freaking Mingyu!!! Not my vibe but i liked the different fits and makeup. They went ham. 0.o I really need to read the lyrics on the rewatch. lol. I think maybe after 50 listens it may grow on me. Borahae. -NY USA 2019 Army💟 @Ann_private said on 5/17/24 originally Mingyu’s hot tub scene almost didn't make it to lalali mv final version. SEUNGKWAN said that it HAS to be in the mv so he talked to the company staff about it and they added it!! THANK YOU SEUNGKWAN !!! @nadeanmstislav6159 said on 5/27/24 have u notice that the last three song of hiphop unit talking about flexing to their haters? if u haven't you can try to check the lyrics for fire, monster then lalali. in korean it’s 날라리 (nalali), which is kind of like a person who is rebellious. they don’t care about the rules, they act “cool”, don’t listen, and just known to have a “i don’t care” lifestyle. it’s hard to explain with words, and actually, the entire MV is very “날라리", the outfits and scenes too. Good reaction(SPELL), ty. Great song. Loved it on 1st listen. Loved the fits and makeup too. Dino showed impressive range. All of them looked so good. Love this easy rhythm. Such a vibe. On my playlist already. Catchy. Hope we get more songs like this in the future. They really put u through it in this one huh. Hugs. @muginfires said on 5/18/24 They confirmed that Spell is amapiano. Explains why 2/4 of pfu danced to amapiano TikTok's before the comeback. I'm so obsessed with this song no one gets it. the mv just makes me cry cause it's insane. goddddd @n.ami1505 said on 5/18/24 I love how Hoshi gave credit to Afrobeats in their spotify zip-party video and that they worked with the talented South-African dancer Kirsten Dodgen to do their choreography for Spell. It should be the bare minimum but unfortunately many don't even give credit. Good reaction(Cheers To Youth),ty. Good song. Good vocals. They all looked great. Sweet msg. Feels. Finally read the lyrics with u. UwU Love that they make mental health songs like BTS. This msg was so needed. My mom's cancer got worse. So she is dying. She was hospitalized for a week. Now she home and seeing her get worse daily in the hospital was so sad. She has been home a week and it looked like things were not getting worse. But today she got more weak. I have been crying off and on. I was so hoping she could live a little longer. BTS and army help me smile, laugh, and take my mind away from my current situation. And this reminds me that SVT are here too in support. Thank you for keeping me company with ur content. @Junny1117 said on 5/27/24 If you don’t know Cheers to Youth was actually inspired by Hoshi! At one of their concerts he made a mistake and apologized for it and said “it’s my first time living too.” So that’s why there is a tiger at the end! @pinefir said on 5/27/24 Dol does mean rock / stone. The google translate you had was bawi which is a direct translation for rock in rock (bawi) paper (bo) scissors (gawi) . He is represented by a rock because he is trying to represent academic anxiety which makes one feel dumb as a rock. @bettycook29 said on 5/27/24 Actually 돌 does mean rock... so you were right. P.S. Umm, this was discussed months ago on twt but i guess u missed it all due to work. So S. Coups will not do military. He injured himself badly and though he healed some, the military will not make him serve unless it's a severe emergency. I had thought he would do civil service but the talk was that he would not do that either. He cannot undergo the month of training do to his serious injury. I don't think Joshua or Vernon will serve unless they want too. They both USA citizens. And Jun as well as The8 are Chinese so they don't have to serve either. But everyone else has too. They have to go in at 28yo unless they fit the eligibility criteria for the BTS law which lets them serve at 30yo or younger. P.P.S My fav songs are Spell & Cheers to Youth out of the 4 new songs. =0}
the horanghae on the end of cheers to youth because the song was made because of hoshi, he explain that there this one time on their concert we went overboard or something and the members scold him like that isn't right or something and he apologize and said that "sorry it's my first time living today too" and little did we know woozi is already creating a song in his brilliant mind
The style of music for "Spell" is Afrobeats. Seventeen hired the amazing South African dancer Kirsten Dodgen to choreograph the song (that's why it has a feminine flow to it). I think we all should shower her with thank you notes and cards!
minghao and dokyeom swap places sometimes because he is the8 he likes being 8th so it’s in age order then for 97’s minghao (8th) mingyu (9th) and then dk (10th). so technically incorrect order but not actually wrong
mingyu is my ult! idc anymore!! LOL i tried to leave this man’s grasp for the longest but i’m just gonna flat out say it out loud for now on. 😂😭 the genuine gasp into the “bitch-“ when Dino’s killing part was toooo real lol! as some people have said in these comments, ‘Cheers To Youth’ was inspired by Hoshi when he had made a mistake during one of their ments at their more recent concerts. Hoshi apologized for it and said “It’s my first time living today too”. Woozi really stuck with that comment so he then wrote a whole song based off of it, hence a tiger/Hoshi being in the MV at the end.
The order of the members is right, tho originally for the 97 line is DK first then Mingyu then Minghao according to age order but Minghao like being 8th as it's similar to his stage name so he and DK switch (DK is totally fine with it👍). This is the order that has been going on for so long I'm surprised that u only know this now lol
17:18 it's actually hilarious that you said that bc this scene wasn't initially gonna make it into the mv but seungkwan fought for it to be included. he knows what the people want
Well they do performed all 4 songs on Seoul concert, even before album release, and all live performance videos are on seventeen channel you can watch, amazing performance ❤
