I'm a 2015 carat and I've heard shining diamond many times but rereading the lyrics while watching this (I'm chinese) and the line in the bridge where they were saying "Even after time passes, I won’t become weak, we’ll keep it up. I’ll give you this shining promise on your finger. Shining Diamonds" I started crying bc they literally wrote this promise into their predebut song and put that meaning into their ring that they never take off, which has a diamond on it now coming up to their 8th anniversary, and they've kept that promise completely. Time has passed, they've only become stronger, shining more and more, doing even harder choreos even though they get tired more easily, they've all stayed together only getting tighter over time... idk any other group who can look back like this and say that they really lived every word of the ambitious promises they made in the very beginning it's crazy to me. Every time they say the inimitable seventeen carat i just feel all the emotions well up i'm so proud of them
Shining Diamond is iconic. Something about that song just makes me feel emotional. Watch their In-Complete Concert 2021 Special Video of it when you get the chance. I think I was crying when they performed it because man, they've come a long way. Happy to have slipped into the diamond life.😀💎
shining diamond was also choreographed by hoshi! you see him coming up with and teaching them the steps in seventeen project. i highly recommend watching their shining diamond performance from their 2021 online concert in-complete if you haven't already. it was so special to see them perform it again and see how much they've grown since then.

shining diamond is just so epic, it will always have a special place in my heart. like i always have goosebumps whenever i rewatch this mv. they were just so talented since the first place. and you know, like the melody of the song really make it feels super enormous, like they are going for world domination.
"somebody help me" is literally what I thought when I had first seen this MV. i was a goner the moment it started with Hoshi hanging upside down like a freaking bat! not only did he show what an amazing dancer he is, he also proved what a great vocalist he is. i love everything about this song!

When Spider came out I didn’t really know Seventeen’s individual members but as a HYBE stan, I came across its premiere and thought, who the eff is this because this song is a masterpiece. Then got into Seventeen after that and realized how crazy incredible Hoshi and all of SVT are. Every time I hear it, something just takes over me. I mean Hoshi takes over me.

recommend two really really incredible stages,‘ light a flame ’and ‘hey buddy’, these two songs are squad songs (by year of birth), 96line (wonwoo, hoshi, jun, woozi) and 97line (mingyu, the 8, DK) have both performed at the carat land and are really very interesting and engaging, hope you don't miss the stage ，they are so beautiful!!!!!!

We can all agree, Hoshi is art! Btw the white, wet stuff is most likely venom and not silk used for web making. I think that's why the dancers are dressed in white, also wearing white full face masks representing his prey. Cause a spider will bite its prey, paralyse it, and encase it in a cocoon for later. But it can also mean that Hoshi is a male version of a spider, trying to escape the female, seeing as they eat the males most of the time, hence the appearance of female hands and the fingerprint we see in the mv.
