While they do have subunits, those are usually for album tracks. Title tracks [almost] always feature all 13 members. The guy at the start is Hoshi, yes he has done solo tracks [spider , tiger], but is also part of the 3 member subunit BSS. SEVENTEEN are currently the biggest selling artist in Korea [BTS are in the military right now, but svt have outsold bts’ biggest selling albums atm]. They tend to switch between’Dark Teen’ which is this kind of stuff [Fear, 24hr, Super, hot], and ‘Bright Teen’, which tends to be brighter more upbeat music [god of music, oh my, left and right, home run], and plenty of songs in between the two. All so, they don’t have dud songs [they never disappoint] their choreography is basically the industry’s gold standard [check out some dance practices], and their back catalogue is BIG.

THANKS for reacting to Seventeen!!!! By the way, I see you reacted to Jennie of Blackpink. Well...Jennie was seen at Seventeen's concert in Seoul last week. She's been friends with Mingyu for awhile, but she and Woozi (the blonde playing the piano at the beginning, who also writes/composes/produces all of their songs!!) have recently developed a close friendship that has Carats raising eyebrows! So since you like Jennie, you should pay more attention to Seventeen...or at least Woozi! And yes, Seventeen's "Super" from their 2023 FML album broke all K-Pop record sales (beat BTS!!) and grabbed both MAMA's -AND- Golden Disc Awards' Album of the Year awards!!! Seventeen has taken their time climbing to the top, and now they've exploded! You MUST watch "Super" (especially the dance practice video...which was recorded in a gym since there were so many dancers) if you want to see amazing!

the whole storyline is them fighting against AI. which is incredibly ballsy because their parent company - hybe - promotes AI and the use of it. but seventeen really made a song condemning it and saying itll never replace humans and their creativity. side note - theyre under the company pledis directly but they fall under the hybe umbrella along with some other companies such as Belift, ADOR, and Source Music.
