This interview was a straight up roller coaster.

What I like most about youngji in this interview is that she's a big fan of hoshi but she didn't make him feel uncomfortable in any way possible

This interview was such a trip LOL Youngji also said that Hoshi was the guest who got hammered the most

Youngji is so nervous to see hoshi because she lit used to fangirl over him real bad during her middle school days. she was WHIPPED for him so it's like meeting her first love/ celebrity crush

The fact that Youngji has been an Hoshi biased hardcore Seventeen fan since she was a child makes this even more touching.

One of his members jeonghan posted a video of hoshi practicing their dance right after this (still very drunk) and it was super funny! Hoshi is an artist I admire and love a lot and it’s great seeing him be so comfortable in a program <3

I think, with a group like Seventeen when you have 13 members, in order to work well, you have to be attentive and aware of each other and know what's going on. I do feel like members like Hoshi, DK, and Seungkwan, while they are the "louder" members who to tend to hype up the crowd and easily turn the room in to absolute chaos, they're also the most attentive ones who know to look around, quiet everyone down, and drive the conversation towards the correct direction. Hoshi also tends to be the one who steps up as the group'd overall leader when Scoups isn't around. While I was pretty confident with Seventeen being able to stay together and all re-sign the contract, you can't help but have that slight worry in the back of your mind because at the end of the day, 13 is a large number of people to get on the same page and agree. I'm sure they all have life/career goals they want to acheive in and outside the group, so it's amazing they managed to work it out. Which, again I think is partly thanks to Seventeen being able to communicate with each other really well. This way, no one feels left out or their thoughts unheard.

omg i 500% recommend episode 7 with hyungwon from monsta x, it's the first time youngji ends up blacked out while the guest is fine and the dynamics they created were so fun and interesting to watch, it became one of my fave videos of all times (and i barely know both of them hahah)
@SC12719
Hoshi is also very good at defusing pressure in difficult situations. With just one sentence he can make everybody around him laugh/smile. There are many other videos where you can see that

youngji really was so funny also the reason why she was nervous meeting him was because she is fan of him since middle school thats why she was speaking direct with him! 😆

I honestly think he learned a lot of his communication skills from S.Coups, who is very careful about making sure all his members are heard and understood. But also learned how to listen and make sure he and others are understood because when they first debuted he did all or 90% of their choreography. So he had to learn how to listen and also how to express what he means because he was teaching them all the choreo for hours on end.

Youngji is so young, but carries herself very well and has a very disarming, genuine personality.

Seungkwan did an interview with Youngji and it was so interesting because they are good buddies! You get to see two entertainers let their walls down and listen and empathize with one another :')

Hoshi would later go to Seventeen dance practice in a drunk state to practice. The members kept telling him to go home but he refused and said he had to get this done first.

I have only seen a few videos of youngji, but it's crazy to me to think of how young she is, she's like 19 yo yet she seems so confident in her quirky personality, and talking personally to so many huge celebrities

I really just love how youngji is able to make every person who appears on the show comfortable with her no matter what different type of personality each person has. She’s just a joy to watch & has all my respect!

Youngji is great at making her guests feel comfortable to talk and open up especially as idols have alot of pressure and controls placed on them by their companies and the public / fans on how to present themselves and what to say. Or even if some guests are shyer and more introverted she brings out a new side to them that u dont always get to see. And interviews and shows arent always like that. Youngji's show is always so funny and entertaining to watch with every single guest that comes on.

I don’t think you’ve done a video on Monsta X, but one of their members (Hyungwon) recently did a video with Youngji and their dynamic was hilarious. It would be cool if you checked that one out too!
