Seventeen Year Periodical Cicadas Glenview, Il, 2024- WARNING! They are LOUD!! 

In this video I take an afternoon to check out the 17 year periodical cicadas before they are gone for another 17 years!
The sound level was unbelievable! I could hear them on the tollway with my windows up and music playing!
Such a fun experience though!
I took some dead ones I found home to set in resin.
That will be a first. I should document that as well! lol
