I disagree… they knew they were building on the roads and or where they shouldn’t. They all took a chance with there businesses being there. The government wasn’t always in a position to make these changes without investments and a proper government that actually cares. Yes, this might look bad but in actuality, this is great progress for Gambia. Look at Rwanda 25 years ago and you will what President Barrow is doing was needed decades ago. Change can be tough but the outcome is worth it..👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

Did the Government study the things that Rwanda did ? that is the. thing. we can not just take one peace and ignore other serious steps . these are all our people of the Gambia. if the law is going to be applied we must apply it in all. spaces. where there are millions of dollars missing we must handle those things maybe we can have a support funding for homes and budsiness spaces to support transition for those needing it. A poor old man squatter a place and they want him move. A working class sisters in a restaurants being arrested. But ur people did a great job on the video, the shots were good. By the way the sister, she could have avoid arrest if I was her. Because what the officer said was cleared " we want to see you start moving the flowers"... Pick it with your hand and start moving them, probably later the officers workers might join to help her, or one of the neighbor or even the brother who was defending her might come and help her. It was only a flowers to move in. But arrogance can destroy. Officers take it easy on this operation tho.

The arrest of the lady is unlawful because you asked her to remove something and she said she will but you said to her you want to see her doing it.and she replied I can’t do it unless someone does it for me, and you ar there with your demolitions team.just use your team to remove it and if she tries to stop you.then that’s when you can arrest her.but to be honest you are not being fair to her period 😅
