Feel better Ezra ❤ He reminds us so much of our 4yr old son Titus. He has L3 ASD. We love you guys and find comfort with your videos. We are learning as we watch and embrace the life ❤
I love how you worded that, “embrace the life” it is true that as parents we go through a lot of different emotions when we first find out and as soon as we can embrace the life and choose joy even in the hard times it makes such a difference. So happy to have you here! ❤️❤️❤️
Ezra the firecracker! He has so much energy even when unwell. Where you get your energy from Holly to keep going I just don’t know but I suspect it was a gift from god. Hope Ezra is feeling much better now. Hope all your kids also have a great school year ahead in their new grades.
I feel for Ezra. Having a sick day myself. Just stuffy head and sore everything. When I am sick, I usually want NO shirt because I feel hot. Yea, I am weird, but that is just ASD.
I love his name Ezra what does he excel in I have a son with high functioning ASD Thanks for sharing children need help Our heavenly Father wants us to take care of the children Good job 🎉f❤
It’s good to see that Simon knows how to say “I don’t know”. I think I was at least seven years old (if not eight) before I was able to say that. I think I was at least nine or ten before I could consistently say that, though. I guess that is one of the differences between being level one like Simon and having a lot of speech therapy and being level two like I was growing up and having almost no speech therapy.
When my kids start to get sick we use some incredible tools that are native to the body and we are able to turn around those sick days so quickly that we hardly even need to miss school anymore! It's been a game changer. It's also been a huge benefit for friend of mine who's 18yr old son has sever Autism. It's given him a dramatic improvement in his communication and capabilities. Message me if you'd like to know more! Thanks for putting yourself out there to share this information for real people!
Your such a lovely family. My sister can't look after me because Of my behaviour problem. So i Live with my old mum and she is stressed about my future poor mum I'm old going through menopause with autism and it's awful. At least your boy's won't experience this. But i used to be just like ESRA poor boy get well soon
Ezra is so similar to my son Mendy who is 10! Lol we also have locks on our fridge and my son grabs my hand all the time everywhere also! Its funny because when my son is under the weather like that he doesn't really act so sick like this either and walks around the house and grabs food and has to be watched after also so we as moms cant just relax when they are not feeling well also! My son elopes too and finds his way to different rooms in our apartment and has to be watched so he doesn't touch something he shouldn't or put something in his mouth and he makes a huge mess! It's like they are themselves when they are under the weather but not really themelves because still a bit weak so it's like they are fine but not 100 percent to go to school so it's tricky!!
I love you kids so much they are so sweet smart kind adorable and I watched them learn and be there self and there personality Is amazing and y’all are the most amazing talented parents in the world and I hope you dreams come true and I love you so much and I hope someday in the future I can meet you in person because I have special needs and I love people with autism and autistic ❤❤❤❤❤❤🧩🧩🧩🧩🧩😍🙏🏻💒❤️💒❤️
It looks like Ezra’s making an effort to use the toilet even when he’s not feeling well. That’s a very good sign in regard to his toilet training progress. When I was growing up if I had a stomach bug (like Ezra seems to have here) I would usually only use the toilet without being reminded by the time I was nine years old. Before that (for example by age seven) I would usually use the toilet when I was sick if I was reminded to but I didn’t like it. Based on that you might be making a video about toilet training Ezra within the next year if he continues making progress in his area.
Everyone should go over jj austim journey fathering austim austim family special steps rasing autumn Kaitlyn & kaidale the wee family lauren breeze these are all austim and Autistic family youtube these are all great family

@@7Aheadfamily maybe try rain sounds or smooth music at night that might help his sleeping especially if he likes nusic ezra already play it on a speaker but simon would have to be ok with that
Iam your recent subscriber.my grandson also autistic.he getting aba service in u.s.coming monday he join preschool.i knew your sons already joined autism preschool.my question is pure autism preschools are in u.s Illinois district? My grand son is two months junior then simon.that means his birth month April 2020.pls concern my doubt.sorry for my english ❤❤
We live in the midwest. I don't know what kind of schools there are for Illinois, but you could ask a local Facebook group for Parents of Autistic kids in your area. Asking that kind of group for resources is always a good idea.
@@7Aheadfamily why does he want in the fridge for him to keep opening it repeatly. Could you guys do a timestamp video what its like being with ezra for a day I feel that would be very educational too for people with level 3 autism children and how to manage them and seeing a view from your experience. it seems to me all he does really is walk back in forth in that area in your house , stim , and play with cords. Does he like tv or understand whats going on? does he really even know how to use an iPad or purpose of it? Does he have any playmates besides family and autsim family?
So curious if u or ur hubby has been assessed or are neurodivergent as well? I found out I was autistic after my son got diagnosed and it made so much sense!! I know not every one has the same experience but I’m always curious to see if it’s genetic in some families
Thanks for asking. We haven't been officially tested, we probably should. I am learning more about ADHD and feel very strongly as of late that I have ADHD. I know Autism runs in my family, so it would probably be a good idea. -Holly (Ezra's mom)
@@7Aheadfamily thanks for answering ❤️❤️ it’s so interesting to think about how many other woman have been completely missed by the system due to high masking, same goes for adhd and girls, it’s usually more inattentive with girls who have adhd rather than showing hyper always bouncing around like boys with adhd do! again thanks for answering! Love the channel! It’s helped me learn so much! Your channel was one of the ones that helped me see some of the not so talked about autism symptoms in my son and I’ve learned a lot from you guys! keep up the great work and wishing your beautifully unique family all the well wishes!
@@madiArabellavery interesting. I am 60 years old and was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome now called ASD and ADD in my mid 40s. I also am deaf in one ear and have a moderate to severe loss in the left as well as Depression, which were diagnosed at age 5 and 18 respectively. I was exposed to Rubella in utero. Since I was born in the 60s and very high functioning as well as gifted as I grew older I was just thought of as a very weird, eccentric child. Very little was known about these disorders back then. Even individuals with Level 2 or Level 3 Autism was considered intellectually disabled with no discernible cause. My dad used to always say, “you’re always in your own world.” And indeed I was. It wasn’t until my 40s via psychiatric interviews with my family, myself and testing was I diagnosed. I now take medications and require assistance with keeping my home life stable. However, I have a Master’s degree in the biological sciences and am employed in a STEM profession, which I love.
If I left him for two minutes he would find a way to leave the house and run away. I wish I knew what the future holds for him. It whatever care he needs we plan on making sure he has, but we will never stop helping him gain as much independence as he can have.
Ezra just does what he wants from what it looks like. Jus cuz he's on the spectrum doesn't mean you can't say No to things or set rules & boundaries 4 him. Really you've got 2 do this, like what did he do 2 earn a prize outta your box?? He's not a baby anymore & needs guidelines 2 follow plz..
my grandson was non verbal, up until the age of 4 , now he won't stop talking. we could not understand anything he said but now we are having real conversations with him . he is 6 now and was recently also diagnosed with severe adhd and ocd. he is on a very low dose of medication. he is doing so well now ,it's truly a miracle!!!
the difference between Level 1 and Level 3 is incredible. While Ezra is so obviously autistic in all his behaviour and so noticeable within seconds, Simon looks and behaves as any neurotypical child and so hard to notice he has it too
When I’m sick I usually eat many light meals or snacks instead of several large meals. Sometimes I will have something like bread and peanut butter, granola bars, ramen noodles or something else that I’m pretty sure my stomach can handle.
What age were your kiddos diagnosed with either severe or mild autism? My son is 5 years old and goes to special class since pre k and this year in kindergarten. But the specialist who helped us find the school for these special classes said they cannot categorize him right now since he is improving his speech.
From what I have seen in other videos Ezra is in the middle of being trained and is usually in underwear during the day to help the training process along as much as possible. It looks like he’s been making quite a bit of progress in this area since at least January or so.
Hello, congratulations on your channel, I would like to ask you when the child is sick, how does he communicate with you? because my son has a hard time showing me that he is sick.
