He had a fractured vertebrae in his neck at the time from a previous incident, but kept on working refusing to get treatment and got addicted to pain meds.
Its just a pair of suspenders, but they have to hold the pants from 4 places because of how heavy those pants are. Firefighters' clothes are really heavy so they need a big support surface
@@vi2751 I watched the video again (around 5 times) and I still think it's Capp on the roof. It is his voice that we are hearing and also Capp's skin is a bit brighter than Vargas. Also you can tell the difference by watching their eyebrows color and the form of their ears. 😃
@@stasiabv6 okay I'm rewatching it again and the only reason I can see that it's capp now is bc he's wearing a shirt with a collar and Vargas isn't. Sorry bout that
Kinda looked like they were doing repairs on the roof and guy A (the one being held onto for dear life) told guy B (the guy with the plank attached to him and the broken leg) not to walk on the edge or something, guy B did, ended up falling down the roof with the plank attached to his working belt at which point guy A goes to save him and when he grabs onto him and bears his weight, his line snaps. Then it becomes guy B holding guy A until the fire department gets there LOL.
