And… breathe!
We knew the 2023 Spring Steam Gala would be hard to top with 4079 ‘Pendennis Castle’ visiting. This year was an undeniable success however I am pleased to say, despite the loss of 6880 ‘Betton Grange’ and 813. Fortunately 127 ‘Taw Valley’ and 1369 were flown in to save the day. I was booked to work the Saturday but went down on the Friday and Sunday to do some filming. Thanks to some happily received contributions from a few friends, I present to you a bumper film covering all four days of the gala.
Tiring to say the least but highly enjoyable. Glorious weather, solid timetable, great fun. Please see pinned comment for health and safety clarification. All shots were taken following the correct guidelines.

This film has blocked up my storage space almost utterly but it’s been worth it. Thank you deeply to all involved in the galas organisation and execution. Same time in September?

A little update for you all hereonin. My A Level exams are imminent so content will be slow for a couple of months. That covers all spheres, TiYL, real railways, etc etc. Following that, wheels will be set in motion for driving lessons and entering the world of employment. We shall see what comes but I thank you for your understanding.
