@@demonslayer595 to be fair kings in real life are ruthless and cheat their people 😅but u still can’t deny their other 6 UELs and the path they always have
Well ofcourse? U do realize its based on the nations performance in europe right? Englabd has only 1 team left in the semi finals, italy has 3 and germany has 3 aswell. Spain only have 1
It doesn't work for the teams anymore. With oil clubs having infinite money the rest are demanding more matches or they'll break off and create a super league.
don't think like that. think about Sevilla getting a good chance to show their dominance in UCL. Because they are too good to play in Europa League. Teams finishing 9-24 play double legged games to qualify for RO 16. Sevilla do get enough games to show their quality
@@kingplatform2255I think Sevilla should too. Looking at group B. They have a good chance of making ro16 based on each teams quality. Rn they're not in the best of positions. But I the new format I think they could reach ro16 a couple of times
Because of money. How grown adults who work jobs and pay bills don’t understand that companies/organizations make the moves they make because of money is beyond me
The same reason they changed it from a knockout based competition with only chanpions to a group competition with non champions and champions alike. Which if it wasn't clear the answer is money
Not every company make the right moves nor most companies make the right decisions. Often times they make drastic changes that make them generate less money instead@@Beanskiiii
Yes europa league cup is architecturely designed with engraving and unique shape and design on the other hand Ucl trophy is just a classic trophy cup just bigger than uel trophy
they did it like that so they can fit man city, liverpool, man utd, arsenal n one more really good team like chelsea (is it) n newcastle (big fanbase) bcs they bring in the most viewers
@@sentiasatransformasinewcastle only have a big fanbase coz theyre a big city with 1 team. Theyre not that famous internationally. Especially considering they havent won anything since the ww2 or maybe the 1950s
@@guillermojimenez8072 In my opinion it is better to have a great variaty of participants. I don't get why Galatasaray or Crvena Zvezda as CHAMPIONS shouldn't get a spot in the CHAMPIONS League while other countries get multiple teams in this competition....
Sevilla intentionally finishing 6th in the Liga to play more Europa League. Jokes aside, while I'm not convinced by the new CL format, I'm in favor of not dropping teams to lower cups, including EL teams dropping to ECL. The second and third cup should be realistic aims for weaker sides on top leagues and the top sides in weaker league, with the drop down system we keep seeing the usual suspects
there's nothing bad about the usual suspects being punished for underperforming and bringing viewers and revenue to smaller teams though think of it like this: would you like it if premier league was disconnected from the efl pyramid?
This is why AFC is better. ACL is unique tho, they have 40 teams divided into 2 regions. That means Group A is full of clubs from Western Asia and Group J is full of teams from Eastern Asia kinda like UCL but with MLS elements.
@@TyrionCypherMore like because you never watch football outside Europe. To top it all up, J1 League is more competitive than the Top 5 leagues. So don't just look down on Asian football.
Getting rid of the drop down rule is a big FU to small teams who make it the the UCL, the drop allows them to still have a chance at Continental football
Just to make it clear: The two spots is the CL he talked about are going to the two strongest countries of that year, not necessarily the top two in the five year ranking. While England and Spain will probably continue to top that ranking for the foreseeable future, if they have a bad year in Europe, they will only have 4 spots and theoretically league number 12 could get an extra spot, if it had a banger year. This year the spots would have gone to England and Italy btw, so no Spain
The current leagues getting the spots for next year the pl and serie A so this is all wrong. not would have, they are going to england and italy as qualifying starts for this format next season
They should be giving the 2 spots to smaller leagues, and maybe implication a wildcard format where small leagues send their best 2 or so teams and 2 total teams from many smaller leagues qualify.
Its the biggest tournament in the world..... Your idea make no sense .... Send shit teams ? It will bring down the standard of the competition let the bigger team get the chance to play and raise the standard of the tournament .....
Imagine them reaching the final of the champions league… their team talk would be we are not playing for the champions league title it’s one of our Uefa cup final…
If you watch la Liga you know Sevilla have their ups and downs...they dont always finish in the top 4. Plus a big reason theyve played in the champions so much is BECAUSE they win UEL....not because they made top 4 lol
Did you even watch and understood the video? Sevilla only failed to reach top 5 3 times in 10 years. So assuming that trend holds, Sevilla would have 70% chance to go to UCL in the new system instead of Europa.
@@dennisgoatimer1079 They failed to reach La Liga's top 5 only 3 times in last decade. Can't you read? It has nothing to do about their position in UCL, nor Europa.
When something works and should be left as it is UEFA comes in and fxucks thjngs up. Cant wait to see what heppens in 5 yrs time. Maybe football will not have offsides anymore too😂
ppl blaming uefa for the change just look at super league, which teams wanted to create a new tournament with the same format of the new ucl? uefa just did what the clubs wanted
Tbf im getting sick of them winning the europa league again and again. Not to mentioned they completely robbed Roma in the last one. Not a roma or mourinho fan btw.
@@NihilIslands They aren’t Soviet anymore , they’re privatized now. Don’t you think smaller clubs should have the chance to prove themselves against these bigger , richer clubs? The difference between the rich clubs and the poorer ones is too big. Football isn’t as fun anymore , now it’s fun for those who have money
Sevilla has been dominating the Europa league in most of the last decade; not because they value it more, but simply because they are unable to seriously compete with Europe's top teams in the more desired and prestigious UCL. In the coming 24/25 season, not only would they not play in the Europa league, they won't play in any of the European club competitions; due to the fact that they only managed to finish a few places above the relegation spots in La Liga.
Why not have a new league, apart from UCL, UEL, call it UGL (Uefa General League) where teams that get relegated fight for the best relegated team in Europe🤷🏿♂️
Lots of people criticizing the new format but I reckon this is good for the competition. Why are you allowing clubs losing UCL to compete in UEL, why are UEL clubs even fighting since round 1 if some UCL club gets knocked out and then defeat them more often than not. Good idea, teams should win and lose the competitions they start in.
Everyone hated the current ucl format when it was first brought up I'm noticing that fans are sometimes literally crybabies and you shouldn't listen to them otherwise the sport would be like a ufc or wwe bullshit
Serie A and Bundesliga are gaining ground on La Liga these days. Besides Real Madrid and maybe Barcelona, there's not that many competitive clubs in La Liga anymore compared to the 2000s and 2010s.
